As others have already written: due to the situation, it seems one can afford anything, advance payment, inadequate sanitary facilities, etc. What is absolutely scandalous, however, are emergency exits in the fence that are locked with padlocks. And this, even though just two days ago, wildfires were raging only a few kilometers from here. It's outrageous. If a fire breaks out here in the middle of the pine forest and the often strong winds block the exit, panicked guests will then block the pathways... As if one had never heard that obstructed emergency exits are a common cause of fatalities in fires. Once again typical for France, that no authority is interested in this. The prefect should be ousted from office.

The sanitary facilities are old, damaged, and should have long been renewed.

It may also be this place that gives the campsite its special charm... the feeling of sleeping right by the sea, just behind the dune. It is my favorite spot - we have already been there twice and certainly not for the last time!

Cult campsite with outdated sanitary facilities, only two washing areas (directly opposite urinals for men), but in an excellent location not far from the very beautiful sea. Almost always fully booked, payment in advance is immediately collected. Apparently, this campsite can afford anything. The sanitary facilities are significantly more comfortable than those of the simplest campsites in France. Overall, the site is still recommended (with major restrictions).
