Camping de la Gères in the French municipality of Surgères is located near the famous coastal town of La Rochelle and is therefore just a stone's throw from the sea. The campsite is around 25 kilometres from the coast. You can also swim at the campsite itself in the outdoor pool, which also has a paddling pool for children. The little ones also have their own playground and entertainment programme. The campsite has a bike hire service so you can enjoy wonderful cycle tours through the beautiful surrounding countryside. Friendly welcome. Great location, short walk to the town. Smallish campsite but has all the facilities you need. Nice bar open every day. Lovely pool. Partial shady delimited pitch.
