Decent facilities, especially suitable for families with children. Sufficiently large pitches, but sometimes inconvenient location of the electric boxes (20m cable should definitely be included). Sanitary buildings are new and clean, but the mixed access takes a bit of getting used to. The beach is 1.5 km through the dunes, be careful: then there's another 700-900 m to the water. For a few days it's quite okay, you can explore the island well by bike. The pitches are separated for dog owners and dog waste.

The sanitary facilities are dirty and are not cleaned daily. This is simply unacceptable. Beach 1.5 km, to the sea 2.3 km. Small standard pitches, here the boundaries are often not respected, which can lead to disputes. The condition of the site has declined recently, despite price increases.

Basically, the place is worth its 4 stars, various pitches, we have comfort, although comfort is a very flexible term, in our case good facilities, in my view minimal and standard, with electricity 10A, water, grey water and TV (for those who need it), parceled, approx. 100 sqm, grass or what is left of it, the access to and between the plots is unpaved meadow ground, after some prolonged rain barely or only very difficult to access, there is a supermarket with an adequate range, clean and well-maintained sanitary/WC facilities, attention: ladies and gentlemen together, emptying chemical toilets is somewhat impractical and unadvantageous at chest height (who thinks of such things!?), external bike rental about 600m away, washing machines and dryers (each 5.50€ & 3.00€), the advertised water park is only suitable and allowed for children up to a maximum of 12 years old, as well as the play area and soccer cage, for teenagers this site is definitely not suitable and definitely not recommended if they want to have any fun, no animation / no sports program for adults or teens, dogs are welcome guests, the way to the beach is already a real ordeal at 1.5km. If you still take the path, you must note upon arrival on a large sign that swimming at this beach is officially prohibited and there is a life-threatening danger from quicksand and floods. Whether you want to take that risk is questionable and left to each individual. The surroundings are spacious, landscape as well as sometimes architecture very beautiful, no particular leisure activities possible in the immediate area. Shopping and some sightseeing in Renesse center 6km, Middelburg 35km, Rotterdam 70km. In summary: Nice for a predominantly camping holiday, not a beach holiday, max. for a few days with young children up to a maximum of 12 years and dogs, otherwise rather boring, very manageable and limited activity options in the nearby environment. Those looking for a beach holiday and variety in their vacation are unfortunately in the wrong place.

We went there for a few days as a couple. A short and beautiful way to the wonderful beach. Clean sanitary facilities and friendly staff.

Very clean campsite. Very nice staff, great children's playground - water area. Dogs welcome, 1.5 km to the super awesome beach.

We spent 14 wonderful days there with hardly any rain. The sanitary facilities were always clean and we could shop well in the shop. The site was great, the only downside was that there were hardly any children. But the site can't do anything about that. The walk to the beach was a bit longer on foot, but it was much quicker by bike.

One feels at home there. Beautiful beach, great area, very friendly and animal-loving (dogs allowed). Quick help in case of problems. Toilets are clean, snack bar and restaurant as well as supermarket, everything is available. Perfect!

Everything is available that one needs (shopping options), very good reception, very clean, no separation of ladies and gentlemen (should be known), a separate sanitary area can also be rented. Playgrounds and a water playground, where children can also stay unsupervised.
