Site
Extensive grassland on firm sandy soil in a tall pine forest interspersed with deciduous trees. Situated between the lake and the boat canal.
Access to water
About 300 m long and up to 60 m wide sandy beach, bordered on one side by a wooded point and on the other by the campsite's own harbor.

Note
Northeast of Lake Cazaux and west of Lake Biscarrosse are military restricted areas. Occasionally, you may experience disturbances due to flight and shooting exercises.

👍 The parking space. The fresh water. Very child-friendly. Campsite/rental accommodation: Everything was great. 👎 The showers. The water was often cold and sometimes there was only a little water. But that wasn't too bad.

Family Friendly
Super friendly staff, very clean facility, many opportunities for children and adults, and beautifully situated by the lake. The evening entertainment was too loud and long for us, which is why we only give four out of five stars.

Very good location, great beach, unfortunately no shop
The campsite is beautifully located by a lake and has its own dreamy sand area with free sun loungers. There is plenty of shade. The bus connection runs several times a day to Arcachon and Biscarrosse Plage for €2. The only point of criticism was that there was no shop.

Nice place for families
Scenically beautiful, very friendly and helpful staff, located directly on the lake with a nice beach. Sanitary facilities could be more modern.
