January 2025
We made a stop here in January. Instead of the 22 EUR stated in the 2025 ADAC app, 29.15 EUR/N was requested (2 persons, small trailer, electricity). The first row to the beach would have cost 2.95 EUR extra. The place was quite well visited. GPS systems (also very common) often direct from the N340 at the Repsol gas station to the site through a narrow underpass that is just barely 3 m wide. Therefore: at the large junction C44/N340, it is better to initially stay on the C44 and not turn onto the N340. The very short piece of road before the entrance does not deserve mention.

On the second night, our locked e-bikes were stolen from the square. A few days later, while we were sleeping in the vehicle at night, it was broken into and valuables as well as cash were taken. The police suspect the use of knockout gas. Incidents of this kind are said to occur frequently there. Under no circumstances should you vacation there. Very unsafe. No fence, no other security.

in the forest around the area very many (fed by tourists) stray cats, 2 km to the neighboring town, many guests (including us) are dog owners - it would be nice if they would adhere a little to the minimum standards of decorum, Campsite staff very friendly, in the campsite local one can eat well. We would like to come back again.

We made a stopover here in mid-January on the way to Andalusia. The last few meters to the site are on a well-maintained path - it really doesn't scare anyone. The first two rows towards the sea were occupied. The site rules formulate the ban on radios and TVs quite strictly - but that is not how it is meant. It simply gives the site management the ability to act without lengthy discussions if necessary. Of course, radios and TVs in caravans or mobile homes are not prohibited, as long as others are not disturbed - even quietly - by sound. So just as it should be everywhere. That’s all there is to it, as the receptionist explained to us. Of course, the satellite dish can also be unfolded or set up. The restaurant was open (in the evening from 7 PM). We did not try it. Wi-Fi is available for a fee. Payment only in cash - credit cards are not accepted.

Very nice operators and staff, including personnel in the outdoor area. Restrooms and showers always clean, unless there were 'messy campers' in the cabin just before. Very beautiful grounds. We are already here for the third time in December.

Very nice camping site, heated sanitary facilities, rental bathrooms for 2.50€ on request or showers and washing cabins. The staff was more than friendly. Would love to come back.

We were at the site for 4 nights in the fall, well, a friendlier reception looks different. There were plenty of free pitches available in the fall, probably due to the inflated prices. Warning: No credit card payment! The good thing is the location of the campsite. Showers (cleanliness is good) are only available at the entrance of the campsite, so if you are far back, it’s a longer walk. In the middle, there is still a small toilet facility, but it was only cleaned once a day and was not particularly clean, and the toilet paper ran out quickly even though it was the low season and quite a few guests!! For the facility and the service, the site is simply overpriced, which is why we left early.

Camping between the sea and the mountains - Camping Cala d'Oques offers the perfect compromise for holidaymakers who want to enjoy the benefits of both. The campsite is located directly on the coast of Catalonia in north-east Spain in the beautiful fishing village of l'Hospitalet de l'Infant. The extensive beach invites you to swim against the backdrop of the mountains. Dogs are also welcome at the campsite.
At Camping Cala d'Oques, holidaymakers wake up every morning to the soothing sound of the waves. On one side, the campsite borders directly on the kilometre-long beach, while on the other side the Catalan Litoral mountains begin. This unique location makes the site an ideal holiday destination all year round. In addition to the pitches, you can choose between differently equipped guest rooms and mobile homes. Pets are welcome and are also permitted in most of the rental accommodation for an additional charge. Wifi access can also be purchased. Children can let off steam in the playground and in the sports area, young and old can play table tennis, football and basketball. There is also sports equipment available for outdoor training. The beach, which is directly adjacent to the campsite, is ideal for swimming, sunbathing and long walks on the beach. There is also a nudist beach area just a few metres from the campsite. After a long day by the sea or in the mountains, guests can enjoy traditional Spanish dishes in the restaurant on one of the two terraces with sea views. There is an entertainment programme in summer: Children have fun at the KidsClub with craft workshops or basketball tournaments and adults enjoy the entertainment at the disco nights and wine and beer evenings. Live music is also played on some evenings.
The area around the campsite offers a wide range of possibilities - from swimming in the sea, hiking and cycling in the countryside to culture in the surrounding villages or day trips to well-known cities. At the harbour in the nearby town centre of l'Hospitalet de l'Infant there is a landing stage where guests can hire boats, go snorkelling, diving and windsurfing. The nearby winery is ideal for walks among the vineyards and wine enthusiasts should not miss the guided tours. Windsurfing courses are also available in the Ebro Delta National Park, around 45 minutes from the campsite. Climbing, archery and cave tours are among the many activities on offer in the national park. Just half an hour away is the city of Reus, which is particularly known for its architecture by the famous architect Gaudí. Close to Reus is the Port Aventura En Salou theme park, one of the largest in Europe with numerous rollercoasters and other thrilling rides. A little further along the coast is Tarragona, a city of historical importance dating back to Roman times. The amphitheatre from the 2nd century and the Circo Romano from the 1st century, where horse and chariot races were held, are among the special sights here.
