I had a bungalow in 2024. Everything is a bit old and dilapidated, but it was clean. The staff at the reception are very friendly and helpful. I reserved again for 2025 but then cancelled in February 2025. Since then, I have been trying to get my deposit back. But I never receive a response to my emails (so far 6). A phone call was not helpful as the staff at the reception say they have nothing to do with it, the boss takes care of it personally. Unfortunately, this is very poor business conduct.

We stayed one night at this campsite and it shouldn’t have lasted any longer. First, I have to say that the staff was nice and friendly. We were also allowed to arrive at a later hour. In the dark, we searched for the sanitary facilities and after visiting the toilet, we decided to go to bed quickly. In the light, it wasn't so bad anymore. Unfortunately, the rest of the campsite then became visible. A campsite in such a wonderful location but in such poor condition is really a shame! And I have never seen so many people in such a short time who couldn't handle their dogs. For one night it was okay. Never longer! I slept here fantastically. It was completely quiet. By the way, there was no Wi-Fi either.

You feel transported back to old times. A sanitary building at the standard of the early nineties, with showers partly non-functional. Showers in a newer sanitary building only work with continuous pressure. The buildings and grounds seem to be cleaned at most once a year. The only partially available electrical boxes are already green and dirty. In the registration building, mainly drinks and the most necessary supplies can be purchased. The next shopping opportunity is Naumburg (depending on location, over 2 to over 4 km away). The snack bar is closed. Only too expensive for overnight stays, can be done much cheaper and cleaner. The site definitely needs a new tenant or owner.

We have been on this campsite for many years and experience the decline year after year. It's a pity when a new sanitary building is not properly cleaned, and after a short time, mold already forms. Large pitches have no electricity, and the existing power boxes are switched off. Everyone is sent to an area where there is electricity, and these power columns are hopelessly overloaded with the addition of various adapters. And then you pay 40.00 for a night for 2 people! We don’t even plan a visit to a bistro/restaurant anymore... - urgent action is needed here! The location is so lovely, you are quickly in Freyburg and Naumburg, the site is beautifully located by the Saale and it is wonderfully quiet. But the framework conditions just don’t match anymore.

The campsite is enchantingly located between cornfields and the Saale River, which is bordered on the opposite bank by vineyards. During our 1-day stay, we could rent bicycles (at a hefty price) right next to the campsite to get to Naumburg, which is about 3 km away. I can certainly agree with the negative points mentioned in previous reviews; the site is indeed pretty "run-down" with all its facilities; the trash bins could use some fencing, as they just stand on the edge of the main path. For our 14-day trip through the so-called New Federal States, we also paid the most for overnight stays here. So, the cost/performance ratio does not fit at all! What a pity! But what can you do, for one night it is all tolerable; then the expectations are not so significant. The reception was friendly and the neighbors nice! 😃 Ludwig

There are numerous reviews on the internet about this place. We don't need to repeat that. It must be addressed beforehand and consciously booked for an overnight stay on the way to the south. In that regard, we got exactly what we received. It was perfectly fine for us for one night. Those who want more comfort have to go elsewhere. Therefore, our review also relates to the expected/received ratio. It is completely clear that there are much more comfortable places with fantastic sanitary facilities. The staff were extremely friendly and nice. The check-in was completely straightforward. I recommend having wedges with you, also for the caravan. It is somewhat uneven, and those who are sensitive to that should make adjustments. What is always essential for us is that the toilets are clean. That was the case. There are two sanitary buildings. One of them is certainly not "easy on the eyes". A spa fee is also charged. This increases the costs by €2.00 per person per day.

A beautiful, quiet campsite. From here you can explore the wine region well. The site is clean, the toilet facilities are clean, highly recommended.

We spent a very relaxed weekend here with our dog. The power supply is the only thing that needs improvement. Very friendly staff.
