Good place by the Weser, unpaved paths dusty in dry weather, supermarket at the square

Very nicely located quiet campsite. The pitch with grass, parking area for the vehicle reinforced with gravel. Sanitary area very clean. Supermarket and bakery right next to the campsite. Bread roll service at the campsite. The town can be reached in a few hundred meters via a bridge. Free Wi-Fi of 500 MB. Furthermore, data volume can be purchased. My water tap was only about 10 m from my pitch. Gray water disposal at the sanitary building. Black water disposal only possible via a vending machine for 1 euro. Great Berger shop with lots of camping supplies. Great cycling and hiking area. Fabulous view from the higher Huguenot tower over the campsite, the town, and the course of the Weser. However, there was dog waste on our pitch, which must be attributed to an inattentive dog owner and for which the campsite cannot be held responsible.

The campsite is already good, in summer it is definitely super nice, as everything is very close. But just before the winter break, it is really not good. We had a spot directly by the water, that was the only good thing. The toilets were no longer cleaned, let alone heated. It was freezing cold. The showers had mold spots on the edges, the bread service had also been stopped, if you are paying full price, you want these things to be orderly and clean as well.

Great location, not far from the city center. Campsite clean, sanitary facilities simple but very clean. Was there over the weekend. I would gladly come back.

Camping Bad Karlshafen is an idyllic spot located right on the Weser River, perfect for those seeking peace and nature. The location is ideal for cycling tours along the river or walks in the picturesque surroundings. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and helpful staff, who are always eager to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities leave much to be desired. Showers, toilets, and washrooms are outdated and no longer meet modern standards. Additionally, cleanliness is not always guaranteed, which affects the overall impression. Despite these shortcomings, Camping Bad Karlshafen offers a good base for a relaxing holiday in nature due to its stunning location and friendly staff.

We were at a comfort site for the extended weekend. Super nice reception, top spot and new sanitary facilities. Roll service even in November. Berger accessories shop. Nice people. We were satisfied and will come back in the summer to spend our annual vacation here.
