Camping an der Rudelsburg

Check-in for just one overnight stay with the camper is a much too long and bureaucratic effort. Multiple inquiries about the bread roll service and electricity, even though this was clearly not desired. Laying down a carpet and setting up a tent is not desired here. (1 overnight stay?) Price-performance (>40€) for a parking spot for a stopover does not fit at all!

We stayed here for three nights and rode part of the Saale and Unstrut cycle paths. Great area and many attractions. We really liked the place. Booking was straightforward. The operators were very friendly and accommodating, despite the stress from thunderstorms and heavy rain. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean.

From the first inquiry to booking to being welcomed at the site, everything was excellent, thank you Fam Schreiber. Super conveniently located where you can quickly get to the town of Bad Kösen. Sanitary facilities are all great. Bread roll service top-notch, canoeing a great experience, stand-up paddling affordably priced. Meanwhile, there was always great contact with the operator and their staff. Three days are too short for such a beautiful place. If time allows, we will stay longer next time.

We were on site in the summer. Nice little campsite. Kids can let off steam. Very clean toilet facilities. Friendly staff. Good location for excursions. We can recommend it.

Located slightly outside of Bad Kösen but well-connected by foot or by bike along the Saale. Nice hosts, good price/performance.

We just returned from our camping holiday in Bad Kösen today. We have been to this campsite several times and felt very comfortable again. The site was quite full (Ascension week), but not overcrowded. And that's great. Unfortunately, there are always campers who still need to learn to be considerate of others. This also applies to the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. The staff can do their best to keep them clean, and they do! But if the campers don't know where used towels should go,... Back to the campsite.. The operators and their staff are very nice and helpful and manage the site very well. The site is always clean and well-kept. A roll service is offered, and there’s a small pub which may be a bit overpriced for a campsite eatery. But the food tastes good, and the selection is nice. The site is an ideal starting point for all active vacationers. Cycling and hiking trails lead directly by the site. It is located by the Saale river, and canoeing or inflatable boat tours are offered directly at the site. The campsite is beautifully situated, the pitches are spacious and surrounded by bushes and trees. You have a wonderful view of the Rudelsburg. We had a few lovely days again and would gladly come back. We highly recommend this campsite!

We were at the place the last weekend of the season. The sanitary facilities were clean for all 3 days, a big shout-out to the lovely cleaning lady ;) the entire staff is very friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and well-organized. There is a roll delivery service and a gastronomy on the premises, both with moderate prices. The railway line is of course audible, but it didn't bother us, and it didn't disturb our 3 children while sleeping either, but those who pay attention to it all the time will surely hear it continuously... Otherwise, Bad Kösen is a sweet little town that has quite a bit to offer. All in all, we left satisfied and refreshed!

We stayed for 4 days at the very well-organized site and felt really comfortable there. Despite the long drought in summer, we stood on wonderfully maintained grass. The sanitary facilities were exemplary and always clean. A big compliment to the lady responsible for the cleaning. Particularly noteworthy is the excellently functioning Wi-Fi, the digital roll order, and the also digital power meter reading. 5 stars for this site!
