Very good campsite for tent campers!

We received a very friendly welcome, and a suitable spot for our tent was easily assigned to us. The sanitary facilities are well arranged and clean. In the small shop, you can buy drinks and essentials. You can quickly and easily reach the city by bike. For tent campers, it's very pleasant to have covered seating areas on the site. Next to the campsite, there is a nice beer garden and a good restaurant.

With limitations GOOD!

Good location! Unfortunately, I got a very poor parking spot, in the back corner on coarse gravel next to a wood pile (J3!). Allocating this spot as a parking space really shows ‘business sense !’ It doesn’t create a holiday feeling. The rest of the area looked good and well-maintained!

Good location, relatively quick to get to the city, right in nature (Dreisam meadows). Unfortunately, I received one of the "last and unwelcoming" pitches (J3 - last small corner on rough gravel next to a pile of firewood) at the otherwise nicely maintained site with clean sanitary facilities. Offering this as a pitch at full price really shows "business sense"! No holiday feeling comes up.

As already described, a good place to explore Freiburg. We stayed there for 3 nights, apart from the fact that the men's shower was sometimes not really hot, there is nothing to complain about here. Everyone is very nice and helpful. Wi-Fi is only available for 1 hour free of charge.

Nice spot, completely overcrowded in high season

Overcrowding in high season! Nice spot on the slope in a good location to the city center of Freiburg. However, in high season, it's hopelessly overcrowded. You have to queue in the morning for the shower and toilet because there are too few for so many campers. Consequently, the sanitary facilities are sometimes not clean. The pitches are mostly smaller than 60 m2, so the price is too high. A lot of comings and goings every day.

Embarrassing how they reacted in an emergency

We had to cut our vacation short due to a sudden death in the family and were unable to use the booked place. Cancellation fees 100%, as money outweighed any morals. An embarrassing behavior. One should think carefully about whether to vacation there. We certainly never will again.

We have a tiny little camper and a small car. For 2 nights, we proudly paid 94 Euros for two people, which is 47 Euros a day! If you want Wi-Fi, you pay an additional 2.50 € per day. The base prices per day have now increased to a borderline level but are still okay: Car 4 Euros Camper 9 Euros 1 adult 11 Euros BUT THEN IT GETS REALLY RIPPED OFF: Electricity per day 4.50 € Service fee per day 2.50 € In addition, there's a surcharge of 10 Euros for the overnight stay because we only stayed two days; the minimum stay would be 3 nights! We have visited this site over the last few years and sadly observed that the site is increasingly losing its once beautiful atmosphere and it's only about making as much money as possible. Every square meter is now being monetized here... RV next to RV. IT'S A SHAME...
