Camping am Freesenbruch

Well-located campsite with poor Wi-Fi and very bad LTE or 5G reception. The restrooms are in bad condition, and the men's restroom with eco urinals has a high level of odor and flies. The toilets can be rated at most 2 stars.

Well-organized, large campsite in a good location. Staff are competent and helpful. We had a comfort pitch (U) on the green strip by the road. During the day we heard the road, but it was bearable. At night it was completely quiet. The green strip was a bit "quirky", but tolerable. Sanitary building was functional and very clean. Good restaurant on the site with friendly service. Good bread selection in the well-stocked camping shop. You only walk across the street to the (dog) beach. Unfortunately, tall trees at our pitch significantly impaired satellite reception. The Wi-Fi at our pitch was below average and definitely has potential for improvement. Due to these two limitations, we can only recommend the campsite to a limited extent.

Completely inflated price for 30 minutes of parking. I only visited a friend/customer with my wife here. At the entrance to the gated parking lot, there is a sign for guests and customers. After my 30-minute visit, I went to the reception to pay for my exit. They asked for 19€ which I find more than outrageous. Even the request to issue an invoice in my name was not fulfilled. Here the name of the visited family was listed. Days ago, I submitted a reservation request for the restaurant on 01.08 through the campsite's website. To date, I have not received any response regarding this. As a Barther citizen, I am very disappointed with this approach and I will certainly place this in a suitable forum.

Sanitary facilities always clean. Wellness offer good (massage was top-notch). Friendly staff.

The site is overall very nice. The toilets and showers are top clean and modern. One downside is the Wi-Fi system that is offered for free, it is pretty useless, except in the restaurant, where you can surf endlessly. However, it also becomes quite expensive, a salad with chicken breast for 22€. But as mentioned, the site and the facilities are great.

Friendly but clear management, clean sanitary facilities, restaurant and well-stocked shop on site, reasonable quiet pitches, price/performance is still okay for the location (the Baltic Sea is just expensive and you pay for everything here), electricity flat rate of €5 is fine for the cold season but too high for the summer!

Super beautiful campsite, sanitary facilities always top clean just like the entire campsite, for that we are happy to pay a few extra euros.

Great location, just 100m to the beach. Restaurant does not need guests.
