In the far north of Norway, just a few kilometres from the Alta Fjord, Camping Alta River Camping welcomes its guests in a varied natural landscape. Surrounded by forests and meadows, 5 km south of the town of Alta on the banks of the Altaelva, pitches with electricity and comfortable mobile homes with kitchen and bathroom invite you to enjoy a peaceful holiday. A beach by the sea is 10 kilometres away. The campsite's own sauna offers wonderful wellness. Children will have fun with the play equipment. A boat hire centre invites you to paddle. A restaurant serving regional specialities is just a few minutes' walk away. The supermarket is just 3.5 km away. In the morning, the breakfast service serves delicious bread rolls. The Northern Lights Cathedral in Alta is pure fascination.

small pitches, used by many for only 1 day. Arta must be visited. The church, the museum with the famous rock drawings and the ski jump. With the MTB, you can explore the area very well. It's not far to the canyon, but the hike is quite challenging. A visit to the restaurant opposite the campsite is a must to enjoy the dishes of the Sami.
