Very Beautiful Campsite!

The campsite is surprisingly beautiful. Everything newly built, great sanitary facilities, cooking opportunities, waste collection point, and a very nice reception with a restaurant and bread order for the next day. The woman at the reception was very, very friendly to us, even though we were looking for a spot in the middle of peak season for the same day and the campsite was full. Nevertheless, we were allowed to stay on the emergency pitch and were more than satisfied. We also felt that the pitches were a good size; we did not feel cramped at all. And the lake is directly opposite! Priced at 55CHF/night for 2 people plus van, it’s not cheap, but acceptable. We will come back :)

Arrival on 01.08.2021 Unfriendly reception. The parking space was half flooded and completely soft. When I inquired about another spot, there was a no, although there were still parking spaces available with a solid surface. We had a reservation for a motorhome of 7.5m - 4.5t. We then departed on 02.08.2021 at 9:00 AM. We did not get our money back either (140 CHF). We paid 211 CHF for 3 nights, and you have to pay in advance! I am sorry, but this is not how you treat your guests!!

With the Bernese Alps on one side and Lake Thun on the other, Camping Alpenblick enjoys an idyllic location. This oasis of peace is located very close to Interlaken, which offers many shopping facilities and leisure activities.
Quiet campsite with a view of the clear waters of Lake Thun
In summer, Camping Alpenblick attracts bathers. In July and August, the nearby Lake Thun warms up to around 23 degrees. The Neuhaus bathing area is just a few steps away from the campsite. Guests can relax on the well-tended sunbathing lawns and enjoy the view of the impressive Niesen. The bathing area is also known by locals as the school pool or Büetzer Beach. There is both free access to the water and a lido. Next to it is a water sports centre where you can hire boats and stand-up paddle boards. A beach volleyball court rounds off the extensive leisure facilities. Those who enjoy hiking in unspoilt nature have the opportunity to do so in the Weissenau nature reserve. Many rare birds live here. The riverside path leads through this green Eldorado. The Lombach babbles right next to the campsite. There is also a lovely footpath along the watercourse.
