Camping Alpenblick (Unterseen)

With the Bernese Alps on one side and Lake Thun on the other, Camping Alpenblick enjoys an idyllic location. This oasis of peace is located very close to Interlaken, which offers many shopping facilities and leisure activities.

Quiet campsite with a view of the clear waters of Lake Thun

In summer, Camping Alpenblick attracts bathers. In July and August, the nearby Lake Thun warms up to around 23 degrees. The Neuhaus bathing area is just a few steps away from the campsite. Guests can relax on the well-tended sunbathing lawns and enjoy the view of the impressive Niesen. The bathing area is also known by locals as the school pool or Büetzer Beach. There is both free access to the water and a lido. Next to it is a water sports centre where you can hire boats and stand-up paddle boards. A beach volleyball court rounds off the extensive leisure facilities. Those who enjoy hiking in unspoilt nature have the opportunity to do so in the Weissenau nature reserve. Many rare birds live here. The riverside path leads through this green Eldorado. The Lombach babbles right next to the campsite. There is also a lovely footpath along the watercourse.

Sustainably managed campsite in the heart of Switzerland

Environmental protection is a top priority at the campsite: The staff use electric cars and the sanitary facilities are stocked with recycled toilet paper. Holidaymakers book their pitch via a climate-friendly website that requires less electricity. Many of the products in the kiosk come directly from the region: cheese, beer and bread are among the items on sale here. The Woodstöckli grill house is a popular meeting place: gourmets order a variety of barbecued food at the campsite and prepare it themselves in the rustic wooden hut. "Nomen est Omen" is the motto at the Blockhouse. The campsite restaurant is located in the wooden hut and serves traditional Swiss fare, vegan dishes and fondue and raclette in winter. Motorhome drivers can dispose of waste water and fill up with fresh water at the camper service station. The friendly staff at reception will be happy to help you put together your holiday programme. Guests at the campsite receive the Interlaken Guest Card on arrival. This entitles you to many discounts in the holiday region. The fenced-in playground is popular with families. There are slides and swings as well as picnic benches for parents. Four-legged guests are welcome at Camping Alpenblick. There is a dog shower for them. Camping Alpenblick offers pitches in different categories. WLAN is available free of charge throughout the site.
