Camping Alkmaar

Very nice, quietly located place. You can get to the center super quickly. Everything is well maintained. We already had to wait in line to wash in April. In the back area, there are only 3 sinks. It’s maybe half full here now. There are also too few showers… I think 15 in total for the entire site...

Great location for cycling tours and visiting the cheese market. Decent and well-kept campsite, camper-friendly utility and disposal. Public transport available on site, with a direct connection to the cheese market. The sanitary facilities are new, but a more thorough cleaning would be desirable. Overall conclusion is okay.

Super convenient and very well-maintained site with friendly staff. Different pitch sizes and amenities, there is something for everyone. Connection to the cheese market with the "Bimmelbahn". The city can be reached on foot or by bike, also by public transport. The open toilet concept is interesting but the cleaning of the sanitary building seems to need improvement. Those who prefer to stand in their own water while showering should wear flip-flops 😉

Campsite near Alkmaar. It's about a 20 - 25 minute walk. Friendly staff. Sanitary facilities clean (shower included). No restaurant on site. Sufficient space for caravans + awnings (Comfort site) / Dog-friendly / Occasionally some airplane noise.

The place itself was clean. The sanitary facilities are something to get used to. The toilets are open at the bottom of the doors; when we were there, it rained and our pants got wet 😔 There is no restaurant or snack stand to go eat. The site is close to the center for quick access to the city or the cheese market. That was the only reason to stay at this site. The price-performance ratio is not right in my opinion. Too expensive for what the site offers. We paid 80.80 euros for two nights with the camper.

Great location, close to the city with good access to the city, also with public transport stop directly at the entrance. Spacious parking spaces.

I can only agree with everyone. Super nice staff. Direct briefing with a plan on how to get into the city, take a trip to Bergen or have a bike tour in the nearby area. Simple campsite with trees. Clean. Sanitary facilities, only one large one exists. Since it was quite empty at my time, but not a problem at all. A bit cumbersome when showering; the coin slot is outside, and if you want warm water for washing up, you have to insert 20 cents.

Good centrally located campsite. Everything clean, everything good. Nice place that is simply well and centrally located. Ideal for bike tours.
