We have been at AlPorto for many years over Pentecost and in the summer. It was a top address until about 4-5 years ago. Unfortunately, the hygiene of the sanitary facilities and the service have massively declined. One can only speculate about the reasons, no staff or, or, or.

The site is well-located and undeniably maintained. However, compared to previous visits, negative criticism must unfortunately also be expressed now. For kite surfers and windsurfers, it may still be top-notch, but for others because of the winds in spring and autumn, it is not. While neighboring towns were experiencing summer heat, one had to dress thicker at the site. How nice it would be to jump into a heated pool. But it is not heated. Despite the description on the homepage and verbal promises at booking, it was icy cold even until Good Friday, even though the site is fully booked. With a price of over 60 euros for us with 3 small children, this is not understandable. Additionally, 5.5 euros per day for a parking space, because the car cannot fit next to the caravan and we have a comfort pitch. In the mornings, only cheap roll buns and no Italian bread. Our impression: They want to make as much money as quickly as possible at the expense of the flair and the guests. It’s no longer familial. We took the time to visit other campsites, found, and immediately booked for autumn and next year. What a shame, we used to love coming here.

The campsite An Porto is our regular campsite. We always enjoy coming here. Since the renovation last year, it has become even more beautiful. The new washhouse has a high standard, and there is also a children's bathroom with showers. Especially great for the little ones: the indoor playground with soft mats right next to the café. You can let the youngest play without worries while enjoying a cappuccino. Another highlight: the new pool with a children's area. A barbecue area under a palm tree with a large table invites you to linger. The pitches are nice. A special feature: there is a camping field exclusively for tents. There are also power connections and parcels here, suitable for small tents and cyclists passing through. The playground is small but nice, located in the middle of the grounds. There is also a villa with rentable rooms. The location is directly on the beach, within a few minutes' walk. The staff is friendly and family-oriented. We always enjoy coming back.
