Camping Acacias

The site is a wonderfully manageable, family-friendly campsite in the green right on a river in the Ardèche. At the end of the grounds, you have direct access to the water, where a small weir forms a great pool for swimming and cooling off. You can also easily reach the picturesque town of Joyeuse in just ten minutes on foot via a pleasant path.

The pitches for tents, caravans, and motorhomes are pleasantly spacious and offer plenty of natural shade thanks to the mature trees. If you prefer to rent, modern, clean mobile homes await you. These feature air conditioning – a real blessing on hot summer days – and a cosy wooden terrace.

You should definitely pack your own toilet paper for the washhouse, as this is not provided on-site. Toilet seats are also traditionally not present in the washhouses. If you are staying in a mobile home, it is best to bring a few of your own sharp kitchen knives – this makes cooking on the terrace even more relaxed.

Prices depend on the season and your chosen type of accommodation. It is best to enter your travel dates directly to check the latest daily prices. Typical cost factors include:

The site has an excellent restaurant offering delicious dishes at fair prices. The cocktails at the bar are particularly popular in the evenings. For breakfast, you can pre-order fresh bread and croissants the day before and simply pick them up in the morning. Further shopping options can be found in nearby Rosières or Joyeuse.

Directly from the site, you can set off on exciting canoe trips – a 14 km descent is a real highlight. On the campsite itself, a heated pool and a varied entertainment programme with bingo nights and boules tournaments await you. In the surrounding area, historic castles, mysterious caves, and animal parks beckon.
