Good: SUPER chef and excellent food. Less good: “Crazy staff” (alcohol - we weren’t the only ones wondering - but friendly). Yes, you park with a 7m camper at the reception (four side by side there) - but it’s okay. The access is steep and quite narrow; bus and tram connections are perfect. What’s really not okay: “There is no menu!” Definitely demand the menu that was initially refused; otherwise, it will get expensive!! The bill (two measures: high bill for tourists). We noticed the next day that we had paid 24 EUR more than what was written on the menu… So absolutely be careful and don’t get ripped off. Anyone who pays a little attention has found a super camping spot with a great view of the Trieste harbor. View = like an approach view during a flight… ;-). Have fun. Otherwise clean, a bit overgrown; felt like 90% long-term campers.

We were there for 2 days. We were prepared for it, it wouldn't have bothered us. The staff was very friendly, that the toilets are used by men and women, that everyone brings their own toilet paper is also fine. What is bad is the mold on the shower ceilings. The windows in the toilets overlook the dishwashing area. We felt like we were washing dishes in the toilet, because it smelled so strong. We were standing next to the reception, which is not bad per se. But we were so tight that we had just 2.50 m space to sit outside, and then the next one came. It was also uncomfortable that arriving and departing cars often left their engines running, which made our food taste even 'better'. Please reserve your spots, the driveway is a challenge. The proximity to Trieste is great! Spots at the reception should be cheaper!

I was impressed by the reception at the front desk and the great explanations. I was allowed to stand right at the reception because my motorhome is somewhat higher due to its age.

Small place on top of the mountain. Large vehicles park directly at the reception, as most spaces are "kind of in the woods." Everything is a little outdated, but typical for the South. Everything is tip-top clean. Bus connection directly to the city. Everything is explained and noted down precisely. Everyone is wonderfully friendly. Restaurant on site.
