Enormous parking spaces, easy to access, with or without shade. Sanitary area is okay, always hot water, unfortunately without toilet paper. Of the three sanitary areas, only one is open in the off-season. So: stay close to it. No shop on the site, but you can order baguettes at the restaurant. Shopping centers nearby. Good location for visiting several Loire castles. Beautiful old town, reachable on foot. No view of the Loire, only sporadically of the castle. The city really puts in a lot of effort for its guests.

Generous space on the Île d‘Or. Clean sanitation facilities and friendly staff. There should be a few more water taps, though. However, I don't know how it looks here in the high season. Still, unrestricted 5 stars.

Beautiful campsite with spacious pitches on an island in the Loire. Amboise is accessible by foot. Sanitary facilities are older, simple but clean.

The place in Amboise is wonderfully located for excursions into the Loire Valley. We used it for an overnight stay on our way to the Atlantic. Friendly staff, hygienic wash and shower rooms, very nice ambiance. The highlight was the tethered balloon launches at locations that lead directly over the site, which left a great vacation feeling in the sunshine! Recommended and not expensive.

This campsite is ideal for visiting some castles and cities along the Loire. It is well managed, tidy, and offers comfort to its visitors. It is a place of tranquility before and after sightseeing tours. After a 10-minute walk, you are in the historic center of Amboise directly below the castle. Visitors are warmly welcomed at the reception. Individual requests are fulfilled if possible. The site is easily accessible and well signposted. A return visit is always worthwhile.

Inexpensive site in a good location as a starting point for excursions, very popular among cyclists. Many shade-providing trees. Unfortunately, there is a noticeable lack of privacy when fully booked (high season), otherwise the site would be really good. The sanitary facilities are modern and bright (showers with daylight), soap and paper must be brought along. Payment is made upon departure, and the prices are affordable.
