About

Camp Gielas in the northern Swedish municipality of Arvidsjaur is located by a beautiful lake in the heart of the countryside. There is also an outdoor and indoor swimming pool 1.5 kilometres away. The campsite also has a sauna where you can relax. Children have a great playground and can play mini golf. There is a fitness room, beach volleyball and a golf course 100 metres away. Both boats and bicycles can be hired to explore the lake or the woods. There is also a ski lift 3 km away and a cross-country ski trail for winter sports. A kiosk with a bread roll service and a grocery shop provide catering, while a supermarket is only 1.5 km away.

To check in during the off-season, we had to drive to Hotel Laponia in the town. The lots are firm and level, there are no divisions like hedges or similar. The sanitary area was good and clean. We would come back here.
