Good site with potential for improvement

Beautiful site by the sea under pine trees. Nice beach, partly very rocky. The sea is stunning. Unfortunately, the infrastructure left something to be desired. The showers and the washing area were very far from the site. Nearby sanitary buildings were under construction. The sanitary facilities need improvement. The beach bar was not open. The playground for children was in full sun and not very inviting. Overall, a campsite that is okay. However, for this price, there are definitely better places in Croatia.

Quiet place by the sea, great location for excursions!

August 2023

Dreamlike sea, beautiful pebble beach with some rocks. Nice pitches, some quite large, some with water and wastewater connections. Very quiet, even during high season. The washhouses are very old and need to be renewed. The cleaning team could show more commitment. The restaurant team could be a bit more flexible and customer-oriented. The pizzas were okay. The supermarket is well-stocked with great bread! Primosten is beautiful with great restaurants! Dreamlike view at the Holy Virgin of Loreto. About 30 minutes to Sibenik. Trogir and Split are always worth a trip! Maybe we will come back.

Beautiful, Quiet Place

September 2023

The place is very nice and quiet. You can switch off and relax. Very helpful and friendly staff at the place. It's a pity that the footpath to Dolac cannot be reached from the campsite (you would have to climb over the stones) - a connection could be made possible here, enabling seniors or disabled individuals to reach the path. The sanitary facilities are not the cleanest (unfortunately partly due to the users) and could use some renovation. We would love to come back.

We are excited. The site is right by the sea. Beautiful shady pitches. Very nice helpful staff. The sanitation facilities could use some renovation, otherwise everything is top-notch. We will come back.

March 2022

The site was almost empty due to the beginning of the season in early April. Very friendly and helpful German-speaking staff. Located directly by the sea with a pebble beach and many trees. Sanitary facilities were clean and numerous.

For Those Who Like Shade

August 2021

Campsite with large pitches, which unfortunately cannot be used as intended because there are usually 3 to 4 trees in the spot. When parking, one has to be extremely careful, as there are large trees on both the left and right, and unpacking is even more difficult. Water is only available at the sanitary facilities, and the way is far. I would not go there again.

Beautiful location, but overcrowded.

Dirk

August 2021

Arrived unannounced in mid-September. First impression: overcrowded, entrance area smells like sanitary facilities, and the parking spots are cramped and without any privacy, with no trace of nature. Simply completely overfilled and not to our taste at all. Turned right around again. Sometimes you don’t understand the reviews. This has nothing to do with a vacation!

More infos about Camp Adriatic Primošten

Camp Adriatic Primošten is hidden under shady pine trees around 3 km outside the Croatian harbour town of Primošten. The spacious family campsite is characterised not only by its dog-friendliness, but also by its private beach section: the well-tended rocky and stony beach stretches over a length of 1 km, from which bathers can enjoy the view of small offshore islands.

Cosy campsite with private beach access

Like a protective roof, the sprawling pine trees cover the pitches for caravans and campers, of which around 500 are spread over a total area of almost 14 hectares. Between the picturesque coastal road and the sea, holidaymakers can enjoy a wonderful walk with their dog, take part in a varied sports programme or simply relax on the well-tended pebble beach. The four-legged family members are very welcome at the dog-friendly campsite: The almost 100 square metre pitches offer plenty of space to play and run around. Children will quickly make new friends in the playground and have lots of fun with the entertainment programme especially for younger guests, while adults can enjoy the wonderful view from the beach and cool off in the crystal-clear water, which shimmers in different shades of blue depending on the sunshine. The wide-ranging sports programme at Camp Adriatic Primošten is also popular. Those who prefer to train in company can enjoy exciting matches on the tennis or beach volleyball court. The diving courses offered in the surrounding area are a sporting highlight. Even underwater novices can experience the fish and sea creatures of the Istrian coast up close. Families with children who prefer to keep their feet dry can use the boat hire service at Camp Adriatic Primošten and take a short trip to the nearby islands.

Between vineyards, national parks and historic towns

The fishing village of Primošten is often referred to as the dry cape: It hardly rains here during the summer months, which attracts beach holidaymakers from all over Europe. Anyone looking for a change from days at the beach will pass through the old town gate and find themselves in a labyrinth of narrow alleyways and passageways. Between Dalmatian stone houses, the parish church of Sveti Juraj is enthroned on a hill above the rooftops. In the nearby Bucavac Veliki wine-growing region, the fields are surrounded by dry stone walls and the red earth is covered in stones. Due to its uniqueness on the Adriatic coast, the region is even waiting to be included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. About 30 kilometres away are the seven waterfalls of the Krka River, which are part of a paradisiacal national park.
