Børsmose Strand Camping

The site is unusually large, here you find a lot of privacy and great spots that you can choose freely. But even by the end of 2025, there is still urgent action needed for the sanitary facilities. Everything is really old and dirty. Unfortunately, this also applies to the sauna. We give the site 5 stars, the sanitary facilities 1 star. - How important one or the other is can be decided by each person themselves.

The campsite is not divided into pitches, it is 32 ha large. It felt unusual at first, but we quickly adapted to the circumstances of the relaxed Danish lifestyle. We were there during peak season. The wash houses are not all new, that's true. But the toilets were very clean. Showers had the same situation: many are not new, but it was always clean for us. And all the people, from the cleaning lady to Martin, the manager on-site, were always in a good mood, and there was a relaxed atmosphere at the campsite. We used the sauna, free and with a view of the dunes, five times... we liked it. Thanks to the transmitter mast, there is LTE reception at the campsite, near the reception Wi-Fi is an option, which I never used. D1 & D2 network is great!

The campsite does not have numbered pitches, upon arrival you choose your own spot, depending on whether you are in a motorhome, caravan, or 4WD. We and many others really enjoyed it. The spots are not all level, it's a bit like camping in its original form. The washrooms are not new, that's true. But they were always clean during our stay. The owner is very laid-back and always friendly! Bread rolls are always available in the morning, the location is a dream.

We were on site this year, visiting the beautiful area off and on over the last 30 years. Unfortunately, in recent years only the prices have gone up and no investments have been made in the facility. However, the washrooms and kitchen area are in urgent need. We were more than disappointed with the price-performance ratio.

A magnificent place in the middle of the dunes! You register and choose your spot yourself - perfect! Clean sanitary facilities. Large showers (family showers) Functioning Wi-Fi. Direct access to the kilometers-long and wide sandy beach through a narrow dune belt! Always wonderful to see the first view of the North Sea! Very quiet! Absolute recommendation!

Super relaxed and casual. Finding a spot at one's own discretion. Pure nature. As a result, you don't have a precisely defined spot, but that's fine once you're over the dune at the beach. Wonderful there. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were not quite to our taste, but there was a free sauna with a sunset panorama :)

Free choice of place, showers included, located right behind the dune. We always enjoy coming here. Currently very empty and also good for a spontaneous visit.
