Super campsite with everything the heart desires. The only thing we can't understand is the allocation of the plot. We wanted a spot with a lot of sun and few trees. We got a spot with many trees and little sun. There could have been enough sunny spots.

Quiet location but likely very noisy when fully booked during the high season. Top sanitary facilities. Suitable for families. You can hike, bike, and enjoy the huge sandy beach that is 1.5 km long on warm days.

We visited the campsite by bike while we were in Öland, and booked it last autumn. The place holds what it promises on the pictures. Why we booked: the pool area - great for a holiday with a child! Months later we received an email saying that from now on tickets for the pool area can be booked. Two adults + a 3-year-old child for one day from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM: 21€ But only if you book well in advance! On-site it then costs double! What the hell??? When booking, this peculiarity was unfortunately not apparent at all. So I have to book 42€ for potentially 5 hours at the pool, even if I don't know if my child will want to stay there for more than 10 minutes that day? To me, anything but family-friendly! Outrageous! Absolutely absurd, therefore absolutely not recommendable!

Huge, professionally managed campsite. According to the reception, it can accommodate 5,000 to 7,000 people when fully booked. Accordingly, the infrastructure is extensive: numerous sanitary facilities, kitchens with several ceramic cooktops, ovens, microwaves, and dishwashers. Various restaurants and cafes, bakery, boutiques, and a quite sizable supermarket. When we were there, the sanitary facilities were very well maintained and clean. Location is great, far from any roads. Huge sandy beach with fine light sand. Nordöland is considered one of the sunniest places in Sweden. We can confirm that. Great area. In the off-season, pay attention to the opening hours of stores/services. Strange: The outdoor pool costs extra. Very pleasant stay - highly recommended.

We were there in the off-season, unfortunately only 2 showers were open for the whole site. The pitches are large and partially shaded. Delicious bakery with café on site. Very nice staff, very child-friendly, good location for sightseeing in the north of the island.

The location and the sandy beach are really great, well-maintained and easily accessible. The range of fitness, entertainment, even with concerts, children's entertainment, grocery store, restaurants, so the overall offer at the site is good. The wash houses are equipped with cooking facilities, i.e. hot plates, oven and microwave. However, the wash houses are at most worth 2 stars. Totally unthought-out, no hooks in the washroom for towels, the surfaces are constantly flooded and there are also power outlets underneath! There is one outlet for our connections, but it is located right by the towels and garbage bins, so you can't blow-dry your hair without having to step aside all the time. But the absolute hammer, you can only enter the wash houses with a card and you also have to use it for a 5 min shower. They could have come up with something better. Who thinks of the card when you just need to go to the toilet! Then people, they should move the toilets outside. Furthermore, I find that for approximately 1500 people, a total of 4 washing machines is too few. There isn't even a sink for hand washing laundry. There is still a lot to improve here. It gives you the feeling of mass processing. Sorry, but more than a maximum of 3 stars is really not possible. At this point, I wonder who makes the rating and according to what criteria is it rated? By now, we have the impression that the stars are mainly given for children's animation and a pool!
