You have to drive almost a kilometer to the hotel to check in and out. If you are lucky, you get a power connection (we were not lucky) and a spot somewhat near the only service building. However, it is okay if you find curtains in front of the shower stalls acceptable. If you stand further away, you walk quite a distance over the bumpy gravel paths. There is no wifi. Tip: down on the main road by the lake there are several larger parking areas. That's where the campers who seem to know the place well park. All in all, a miserable price-to-quality ratio (about 35€). Onward to Norway.

Reception open from 0900-1600 hours. The reception is not directly at the site but at the top of the road at the hotel reception. Outside of opening hours, you can drive in, but you do not have access to the power outlet and the service building. We were lucky and met an employee at 1810 hours. He handed us an envelope with a key and site instructions. We could pay the following morning. There are some fixed caravans. The facility is quite quiet, next to the tracks of the ore train and in the middle of the ski area. I cannot call it beautiful either, as you stand on gravel and uneven ground. It is barren and icy windy. However, the view is phenomenal and very rewarding. You can see almost straight towards the Lappentor. It is something for tough nature lovers, hikers, and in winter for skiers. The service building is clean with a communal room (TV, children's climbing wall, and table tennis), kitchen, laundry room with dryer, communal showers - all free to use. Fresh water is easily accessible behind the service building. There is also a children's playground and waste containers conveniently located. There is no Wi-Fi available and we found the latrines for gray and black water lacking.

We have already been here for a year. The place is quiet and clean. The staff is friendly.

The Rondeweibos Park is a very child-friendly park with always something going on but still not loud. The washroom was clean and tidy, which was very important to us. The path to the beach leads through a dune area where highland cattle stand, and if you are very lucky, you might see them. The beach is not very clean in terms of sand, and it is advisable to wear beach shoes or Crocs as there are many shells, which can pinch under your feet. However, the water is amazing as it is very clear and clean. The park is also recommended for excursions to neighboring towns.
