The campsite was very noisy due to the nearby highway. The sanitary facilities were completely overloaded (men and women together) and very unclean, with partial defects. Toilet paper was lying on the floor, shower drains were clogged, light switches had no covers, making the electrical contacts accessible (children use these areas without parental supervision).

The location is very good for travelers passing through as well as short visits to the city of Grimstad. The sanitary facilities and pitches are absolutely top-notch and definitely worth 5 stars. The staff is also very friendly and professional. There is a pool and a restaurant on site, which we haven't tested. In front of the site, there is a supermarket about 200 m away. The pitches are partially paved and have a green area of excellent quality. We also had space for a 9 m motorhome, as pitches up to 12 m are available. Only the price of 680 NKR for one night/pitch with 2 people is simply very expensive.
