Pure nature! However, the peace is over as soon as the "city campers" invade in masses like the Vandals, they behave as if the place belonged to them, loud music, etc.! These groups should be placed elsewhere, where only tent groups are allowed and not caravans and motorhomes whose owners seek peace and relaxation. We have been coming to this site for over 20 years, which speaks for the site! But these groups are a nuisance to us every year. We also do not like that dogs are recently allowed on the site!

Why is the campsite called a resort? For me, it's incomprehensible. The place was very unkempt. The paths were all broken and very bumpy. The washroom was fine, but why do you have to pay for washing dishes? In front of the snack bar, there was a large tent for events, which meant you couldn't see the snack bar right away, which was probably good for the vendor. She was all alone in the snack bar and served many people. Why isn't there a second vendor? Our pitch was on the peninsula, which we didn't like, as the pitch was very small and you were right by the path with your caravan. After the rain, the whole path was flooded and the passing cars splashed everything. The friendliness at the reception also left much to be desired. The air at the registration was very bad.

The location right by the lake is great, but more attention should be paid to adhering to the campsite rules, e.g., nighttime quiet or the ban on grilling with charcoal during wildfire danger level 5!

We were at the site in July, we found it very nice and we will come back. The playground is very nice, the sanitary facilities, unfortunately, are cleaned too rarely, I also criticized that directly with the boss. We place a lot of value on that with small children. The kiosk was always well frequented, the ladies there were very nice and very dedicated. The restaurant was okay, the pizzas seemed more like frozen food than freshly made. The place itself is really beautiful and quaint.

Different places, each conveying something different. Sanitary facilities partially completely new, but all others very clean. Rarely experienced a place that radiates so much calm. We will come back!

The idyllic Bergwitzsee Resort impresses with its natural setting. There are always fantastic views of the lake from the forest. Thanks to its unique beach location, the resort is ideal for boaters and couples planning a romantic beach holiday. Families with children are also very welcome here, as there are playgrounds and childcare facilities for the little ones.
If you are looking for relaxation in nature, this holiday resort is the perfect place for you. The resort is located in a wooded area directly on the shores of Lake Bergwitz near Lutherstadt Wittenberg. The small town of Bergwitz with grocery shopping facilities is only 1 km away. Holidaymakers can look forward to 100 pitches close to the shore on the 11-hectare camping site. There are also 250 pitches for permanent campers. The individual pitches are between 50 and 120 m² in size. The centrepiece of the holiday resort, where dogs are also allowed, is the Bergwitzsee lake. The accessible, private area is around 50 metres long. Those seeking relaxation can unwind on the well-tended sunbathing lawns. The cosy campsite by the lake offers water sports enthusiasts numerous opportunities to pursue their hobby. Boats can be hired on site. There is also a jetty with moorings for the safe storage of boats. The convenient facilities at the campsite include WLAN at reception and in the restaurant. There are also laundry and dishwashing facilities. If you don't feel like catering for yourself, you can dine in the small restaurant. Holidaymakers can also fortify themselves at the beach snack bar.
The area around the campsite also contributes to a great holiday. The numerous cycling and hiking trails are the best way to explore the Düben Heath with its floodplains, moors and forests. The R1 European cycle route and the Berlin-Leipzig cycle route pass right by the Bergwitzsee lake. Those interested in art and culture will also find many interesting leisure activities in the region. Wittenberg, for example, with its famous castle church where Martin Luther posted his 95 theses, is only a short distance away. Ferropolis, the "city of iron", is also just a stone's throw away. The huge excavators are not only exciting contemporary witnesses, but also form an impressive backdrop for various events. Dessau with its Bauhaus architecture, Oranienbaum with its castle and Wörlitz Park with its unique horticultural art are other great excursion destinations nearby.
