Solid Place!

April 2023

Right at the outset, anyone who is sensitive to mosquitoes should stay away! Overall, a decent site that consists of about 80 percent mobile homes. We are here at the end of May/beginning of June 2023, and it is pretty manageable with guests. The site is located in a picturesque area, somewhere in the middle of nowhere! We rented an XL parcel, but a normal one would have sufficed. The additional space can only be used to a limited extent because the support cables for the shading run through the XL parcels. All the pitches have their own water tap and also drains. Sanitary facilities are sufficient and in good condition for Italian standards. Generally, the site looks like it has just been taken over by an investor, as renovations and constructions are happening everywhere. However, everything is under the radar regarding noise and disturbances. There are also some brand new sports fields (tennis, soccer, volleyball) and a small fitness tent. The pool is clean (25m sports pool, children's pool, and fun pool) and relatively large. The natural beaches are endless and quite clean; unfortunately, a lot of driftwood is currently coming down due to the recent storms. This is naturally felt here now. In the evenings and on weekends, there is some entertainment at the pool and the stage, but you can hardly hear it anymore at the pitches. The pizzeria is good and reasonably priced. The free Wi-Fi, for which the password is posted at reception, I still haven't found anywhere! Conclusion: Anyone who can handle the mosquitoes that take over between 6 PM and 10 PM is on a solid site. Not 5 stars (I have no idea where ADAC always gets that from), I would give it a solid 3 or a weak 4 stars!

We spent a week at this campsite. With a caravan and 2 small children. Positive: shaded pitch Clean beach and sea Stone oven pizza on site Supermarket with a large selection Clean sanitary facilities Nice pool area Negative: outdated children's playground, dilapidated, nails sticking out - risk of injury Garbage cans are not emptied regularly - it stinks some days It often smells like a septic tank Barking dogs everywhere and dogs off the leash Soap in the sanitary facilities is often not refilled for days, even though the cleaning lady is there daily. Mosquito plague Staff hardly speaks German and hardly speaks English Way too loud music at the pool. Aquagymnastics with blaring music At the pool bar, you are annoyed by the music from the pool and the simultaneous rehearsals at the adjacent stage with even louder music. So double sound. Minidisco with deafeningly loud music. Even my children said it was too loud for them. Animation until well after 10 PM which can be heard in every corner of the campsite. Enjoying a glass of wine in the evening in peace by the caravan is not possible.

Beautiful beach, great beach bar and then it unfortunately stops! There is actually no animation anymore. The evening program (in Italian) is boring and extremely amateurish, unfortunately, one is dependent on the evening program due to the location. There is no service at the pool bar anymore, you have to stand in line to get drinks/beer in plastic cups. In a nature reserve only single-use plastic packaging for food and drink, is completely unacceptable!!

Little to do with camping

The campsite is only a fraction of the area. Animation until shortly after 11 PM. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, a vehicle drives through that sprays mosquito repellent. One should not leave the windows of the RV open between 12 AM and 4 AM in the summer, not refreshing. The beach was great... but the rest was forgettable. Shopping is about 20 km away.

The site is very clean and is located close to the beach. The beach is super beautiful. The only point of criticism is the location, as the site is a bit off the beaten path.
