Azur Camping Wertheim

I find this campsite simply excellent. There are designated spots for dog owners, and a pitch right by the river adds to the romantic atmosphere. Swimming is unfortunately prohibited and dangerous due to boats and currents. However, there is a leisure swimming pool next door that guests can use for free.

Very nice place, nice showers and toilets, very friendly staff, an ideal spot for dogs, there was a treat from the staff every day.

The campsite is very nicely located. Ideal for visiting Wertheim. The pitches are spacious and well maintained. Sanitary facilities are relatively new and clean. Unfortunately, there are few water points and especially poorly distributed power connections. In some cases, you need an additional extension for the connection. The service is poor. We indicated during the booking that we would like a pitch by the water. According to the information, all pitches by the water were booked, which was not correct - there were several pitches that were free the whole time. Furthermore, they wanted to charge us the normal rate on-site for the discount price (payment in advance). Only after some back and forth was this clarified. According to the email, the late check-out was until 6:00 PM, but on-site it was already at 4:00 PM. Long waiting times at the reception as the work is uncoordinated.

The camping spots were okay, sanitary facilities good and clean. For what the site offered, it was too expensive for us. Dogs were welcome. We would not come again.

What can you say, a beautiful campground right by the Main, toilets always clean, friendly staff, reasonable price

We were there with several families and had sufficiently large pitches right next to each other. The washroom is new and was clean, though sometimes the toilet paper was not replenished. The adjacent street and railway line did not bother us. Overall, we really enjoyed it and would come back.

Very nice campsite right on the Main. Unfortunately very loud. Located between two main roads. Complemented by the railway line. Clamping. Small shop. Buns and pastries only on request. Modern sanitary facilities. Unfortunately, mold in the showers. Spider webs everywhere. The service really leaves much to be desired. No Wi-Fi. The pitches have neither direct water supply, sewage nor electricity. The price for an overnight stay suggests otherwise. Thus, unfortunately, only the beautiful location remains. What a pity.

Very nice place directly by the Main. Sanitary facilities new (05/2023). Spacious meadow pitches. We did not use the supply, so no evaluation. But the price display shows cheap prices.
