Good value for money with compromises in hygiene

We have been to the site several times already, because for the price (camping including park entry) you won't find much comparable online. However, the washrooms are a challenge. Unpleasant odors greet you at any time of day. In bad weather, rubber boots are recommended. The showers are functional but very outdated. The access to the individual sites is somewhat "worn out" so caution is advised to avoid bottoming out. The sites themselves are very spacious and you can leave your car there.

Park is great, campsite doesn’t deserve a star

The campsite is truly outdated. The toilets are very very old and very very dirty and disgusting. There is only one family shower for the entire campsite. If you don’t want to go to the park, there is no entertainment for the children, no playground, nothing. There is a small supermarket, but it is also very far away in the park. The water park with slides costs extra.

The park is quite nice. Good value for money! Unfortunately, the campsite is bad.

Luckily, we are only here for 2 nights, but the loud music in the late evening hours is really outrageous! The children can hardly sleep because the music is played so loudly! No value is placed on quiet times at all! With children, in my opinion, this is impossible! Good thing we don’t have to stay here any longer! The washrooms are also far too small for the size of the site and cleanliness was just okay, but there is a lot of room for improvement!

We are on site for a week with 2 children. The park is quite nice and the prices for a park are still acceptable! But: the campsite is a nightmare... it's a pure party place! Only loud music, drunk, disrespectful campers. Unfortunately, especially Dutch people who cannot behave. Too bad, but with children, in my opinion, absolutely unsuitable!

Camping goes Ballermann - at least at Pentecost

We have known and liked the park itself for several years, always a worthwhile destination with children. So much for the (really!) positive things. The star rating refers exclusively to the site. We are using the campsite for the second time now; the plots are not too small and separated by hedges. Nevertheless, it was unfortunately subpar. It was very loud the entire weekend. Various music styles at changing volumes accompanied the activity at the site from early afternoon until late at night. Well, it was Pentecost, so one could have anticipated that, hence I don’t even want to complain about it. But what really does not work at all (anymore): According to the site plan, there are 250 camping plots - and 2 (TWO!!!) wash houses, of which the smaller one is already quite outdated. One can imagine how these houses (which are not given any more attention by the park) look when the site is fully booked. When the site came to feel like 80% empty the day after Pentecost, it unfortunately did not get any better. Such sanitary facilities are an absolute disgrace in terms of capacity, maintenance condition, and care. Floor squeegees? Not available. Garbage bins? 2 per wash house right next to the sinks…. Disinfection dispensers? Hanging empty and therefore useless. Soap dispensers at the sinks? Got a refill on Day 3 when we were there.

Great for kids due to the amusement park. Weak in the sanitary area.

To the positive. The plots are large enough and well arranged. Fresh water is nearby. It is also great that the adjacent amusement park can be used for free. In summer, a small swimming pool/water park can also be used. The staff is always friendly. The supermarket is somewhat more expensive, but sufficient if you forget something. To the negative. Unfortunately, the two washhouses are more bad than good. One sink each in the men's and women's toilets is too little for so many plots. Men's toilets have 7 toilets and 2 urinals, which is also too few. (Per washhouse) Women's toilets only have 5 toilets. (Per washhouse) Unfortunately, the washhouses are not very clean either. We were there in April. Therefore, it may look quite different in summer. Since the sanitary facilities are so poor, I can only give the place 3 stars. I can still recommend it because there is a lot offered for the price.

The campsite is well laid out, clean, and has good privacy between the individual pitches.
