The pitch was nice and large with water connection, but with a pressure washer (not suitable for city connection). The place is clean and super suitable for children! The washrooms were always clean! However, the beach is a disaster, not much space and the little space that is there is crowded with kite flyers and free-roaming dogs (poop on the beach and the dogs also happily pee on the sandcastles). From the campsite, it was great, but we won't come back!

Nice clean place but there is nothing interesting for miles around. The beach was not nice, a large pile of concrete blocks, etc. The nearest towns are all quite far away and I didn't like the landscape at all, just barren.

The campsite is perfect, particularly suitable for cycling, as everything is flat. Great animation program for guests of all ages.

We were there for 10 days with 3 adults and 2 children. We were very satisfied, and for the children, it was a paradise! We were totally impressed by the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities that were always available! We have never experienced such clean facilities! The entire area was beautifully maintained. With a swimming pool, outdoor pool, many great playgrounds, diverse entertainment, animals, a restaurant, a snack bar, a location directly on the beach (although there are warnings against swimming due to strong currents), a beach bar, vehicle rental, and a supermarket, the site has everything we need. We particularly appreciated the seclusion and that the site and the surrounding area are not so much influenced by tourism, but rather by appreciation from the Dutch. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back!

Since everything is very extensive and one can only explore the surroundings by car, it is not suitable for RVs. The nearest interesting city is about 45 minutes away by e-bike. Everything else is anything but easy to reach. No bus connection as described. Constantly changing opening hours in the supermarket and restaurant. Only children’s animation. There is nothing for adults. At lunchtime, the lawn is mowed with no consideration for the campers. The restaurant has overpriced food and drinks. The friendliness of the staff is commendable. The path to the private toilet on the comfort site was a challenge, as it was very uneven, and you could easily sprain your ankle. It would be nice if cars or scooters were offered for rent there. The e-scooters were too expensive and impractical. Many things in the description did not match. We were very disappointed and mostly just sat around for 4.5 weeks because unfortunately, there was no opportunity to visit anything. We would not recommend this site. We would give it 0.5 points, based on the staff.

The place is clean and nice. Unfortunately, there is nothing, absolutely nothing in the vicinity. Without a car or bike, it is very difficult to get around. Arrival possible only after 2 PM, but the supermarket in the area closes at 1 PM. The swimming pool is clean and nice, but unfortunately, there is no evening swimming for adults. Beach with warning not to swim… The place advertises its own beach. No old town as described. Shower house completely overheated. Great playgrounds for children. Dogs cost extra. Why?

Parking spots are neat and spacious. Sanitary facilities are in great shape and clean, very busy at full capacity. Play options and open space, outdoor pool, indoor pool with slides for kids are excellent. The beach is a bit of a walk across a street (with some animation without German-speaking staff, which doesn't work at a place where (at least during Pentecost when we were there) German children were in the majority. Our kids returned disappointed ("no one understands us"). Everything you need for a great vacation is there, but something seems to be missing for a top-rated place.

We had a comfort spot, the private sanitation house was very good. However, the field where we stood was a disaster. The entire field was barely passable without rubber boots, the water simply wouldn't go away, we were standing in the wet for a week. Driving on the field was also not possible with the car, and even the excavator that pulled the caravan had a hard time. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This family-friendly campsite in the Dutch province of Zeeland is located between lush green polders and the charming Scheldt beach. It is around 2 km from the centre of Baarland and is only separated from the campsite's own 400 m long sandy beach by a road and the dyke. On the 17-hectare site, which is divided by hedges, 16 motorhome pitches have a paved surface. The total of 200 pitches are 100 to 150 square metres in size and are equipped with TV, electricity and water connections and some even have a private shower or whirlpool. The well-paved paths and barrier-free sanitary facilities make the campsite perfect for people with limited mobility. Guests can buy food in the supermarket. Catering is provided by the Strandbrasserie de Landing. Scheldo's children's restaurant spoils you with a special children's buffet. Ardoer Comfortcamping Scheldeoord delights families with an exciting entertainment programme during the holidays. Dance workshops, craft sessions and a bouncy castle party are just some of the highlights. The outdoor pool, heated with solar energy, is also a favourite meeting place. There is fun to be had on the large water slide and in the paddling pool, while the indoor pool offers swimming fun whatever the weather. Sports enthusiasts can perfect their forehand and backhand on the tennis court. The Ardoer Comfortcamping Scheldeoord impresses animal lovers with its numerous amenities: Among other things, there is a separate dog shower in the Venus sanitary building.
Thanks to the excellent wind conditions, the Schelde beach is a favourite meeting place for kitesurfers. The holiday region also offers numerous opportunities for sporting activities on land. Active holidaymakers can hire modern bikes directly at the campsite. For example, you can head north to Nisse, around 11 kilometres away. The landscape around the village of De Zak is particularly picturesque due to the numerous flower dykes. A boat trip to the Westerschelde organised by the campsite is also interesting: numerous seals sunbathe here at low tide. Families also enjoy a trip to the Het Arsenaal theme park in Vlissingen, 35 kilometres away. Here, everything revolves around the theme of pirates. There is also a fascinating aquarium where you can see tropical fish.
