The Pieterpad nearby, nice campsite. We stayed here in 1990 with our children. The campsite has grown. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Spacious area.

Easy check-in and check-out - The campsite was very pleasant. Tasty bread rolls in the morning - nice entertainment team for the kids - fun at the swimming pool - clean and modern toilet facilities - handy app. Pitch/Rental accommodation: The luxury camping hut suited us very well - cozy little hut - small but nice - everything is available in the kitchen - comfortable beds.
Pitch/Rental accommodation: The only minor point I can think of is that we were disappointed not to have sun in the afternoon/evening at the hut, which meant we spent less time on our terrace (during the May holiday). Adding a tablecloth for the outdoor picnic table or suggesting it as a tip to guests.

Pitch
The layout of the camping pitches was perfect, but due to the way they operate, there was little contact for the guests. However, the location and our private sanitary facilities were excellent. Pitch/Rental accommodation: The pitch was great, and the parking for cars was fine.
Pitch/Rental accommodation: I find the contact with the guests lacking; everything is done through an app that didn’t even function with our own WiFi. Furthermore, finding information in the private sanitary facilities was not ideal.

The campsite is well-organized with nice pitches. The sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained. There is enough time to take a shower. Pitch/Rental accommodation: The pitch was tidy and spacious. The grass had been reseeded to cover bare spots. On the adjacent field, there was very nice private sanitary.
With my new Android smart TV, I couldn't get the CAI to work. I tried both connections in the power pole. I entered the TV codes (other) on the screen and still had no picture. The campsite instructions suggest resetting the device to factory settings, but I didn't want to do that because I'm happy that I managed to complete everything during installation, and that would erase all settings. When using CAI at a previous campsite, it was ready immediately. Since it wasn't crowded yet, I was able to watch TV via Wi-Fi.

We enjoyed it for our grandchildren. It was a pity that new grass had been sown in many pitches. It caused a lot of mud (fun for the kids, less for us) Pitch/Rental accommodation: Mud on the pitch

In good weather, children can meet up on the trampoline area or in the covered playground. Time seems to have stood still in the Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park: The best way to explore one of the largest areas of dry heathland in Western Europe is on a hike or cycle tour. The campsite is located directly on the cycle path. For shopping, the town of Nijverdal is just a 15-minute walk away. There is a breakfast service directly on the campsite. The delicacies can be collected from the shop in the morning if ordered in advance. If you want to spoil yourself, stop off at Bistro de Oale Ste.
