Within a few minutes by car, you can reach the city center of Sibenik, various supermarkets, and a shopping mall. The site is beautifully landscaped and fundamentally has enormous potential for a wonderful camping holiday. Unfortunately, we had to find out that, contrary to the website and various statements from influencers/Youtubers, the site is completely unsuitable for a family vacation. All activities cost extra, and there was no children's animation despite the announcement during our entire 3 weeks. The pool is outdated and sadly has nothing special to offer. Many so-called "attractions" are located in the nearby hotel complexes and are not worth it for campers. The transfer costs 24€ for a family of four, a currywurst with fries and a drink is 18€, and the use of the washing machine is 9€.

The campsite is currently being renovated, which is causing significant noise from Monday to Saturday. A part of the area has been removed (about 50 pitches) and new glamping containers are being constructed in their place. The passage of time is taking its toll on everything you see… the washing machines are out of service and heavily soiled. The sanitary facilities are clean, but aging. The reception is chronically understaffed and the staff is somewhat overwhelmed due to the construction work.

We were very excited about the camping facility. We have never experienced a champagne reception at check-in in 45 years of camping! The site is very well organized, tidy, and clean. It deserves every one of the award stars!

The campsite is located about 6 km outside of Sibenik, which is very accessible by bus. (It runs every hour on weekdays) The sanitary facilities are relatively new and are constantly cleaned. The food in the restaurant is highly recommended. The supermarket is also decent. The sea is crystal clear, although wearing water shoes is advisable. All in all, we had a very nice time here.

September 2023
We were here for a few days at the end of September 23 and really enjoyed our stay. Short distances to the very clear sea and sanitary facilities (quite new and clean). The offerings and quality at the restaurant were good, but the supermarket on site was unfortunately already quite empty and not restocked. All in all, it’s a great place with a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately a bit remote, but for those who don’t want to do much, it’s perfect for a vacation. Riding to Šibenik by bike is a bit adventurous. It went up and down, and most of it was along the road (I was even lightly touched by a car that cut in front of me). Good starting point from the campsite to the Krka National Park, about 30 minutes by car to the boat dock in Skradin, definitely recommended.

Spent 8 days there in September 23. The campsite itself is nice. Location is great for exploring Sibenik and also Trogir (by bus/car). Also, a tip for an excursion is the coastal path along the strait to Sibenik. Sufficiently large pitches under trees (partially in the middle and limiting space) along the beach. Beach section very beautiful with fine gravel and partly trees/bushes as natural shade providers. Sanitary facilities are sufficiently available, regularly cleaned, but unfortunately, we had to notice several deficiencies in the showers and toilets (e.g. shower heads, door locks, hairdryers defective), which were not repaired in a timely manner. We missed some animation and sports activities at the campsite (sports facility for the entire park about 1 km away on the street). The Amadria Park (campsite, mobile homes + some hotels) stretches over 2-3 kilometers along the coast with various beautifully arranged beach sections, bars, and restaurants south of the campsite. Unfortunately, it seemed very desolate and deserted during our travel time, which may largely be due to the exorbitant prices, which is actually very sad. At the campsite, especially during the high season, the price for the service offered is somewhat inflated. A reservation was unnecessary for us as you could not choose the pitch in advance. We then chose a prettier one than the initially assigned one. The staff at the reception was always on hand for advice and assistance (partially even German). Nevertheless, we felt very comfortable because our pitch was very beautiful and quiet with partial sea view.

We spent the last 10 days at the campsite. I will simply list everything positive as well as negative so that everyone can form their own opinion. POSITIVES: + great location by the sea with nice beach access + almost all pitches are shady + no red earth like in some other parts of Croatia, but gravel/stones + dogs allowed throughout the site + the site itself is not too large overall + the Amadria Park itself is on the seaside promenade between the campsite and the hotels and offers various food, shopping, and activity options. + not noisy (quiet time from 24:00 to 6:00) NEGATIVES: - above-average expensive. No matter whether restaurant, supermarket or in the bars/cafés, other activities - selection in the supermarket is limited. - not all washhouses are open, hence too few available for the site - cleanliness and the shortcomings in the washhouses leave something to be desired (e.g., water is either boiling hot/cold, soap was only replenished/checked every 4/5 days, fundamentally the staff should regularly test the functionality of the sanitary facilities - little to no children's animation or program for children (if there is, then only in the Amadria Park itself, which is about 15/20 minutes on foot Basically, I had the feeling that the focus of the chain was on the three hotels and less on the campsite. The pools, playgrounds, and animation of the hotels are not accessible to camping guests. I find it a pity. Perhaps one could consider whether to offer an additional card for these activities, e.g. for a fee or simply to make these available free of charge for camping guests, then the price would be justified. For the site itself, an additional small evening program would not be bad. It should be understood in advance that Croatia, since the euro was introduced this year, is almost twice as expensive as before. But that was not different for us in Germany at the introduction of the euro. In conclusion, it was a nice holiday, with a dreamlike sea, however, for a so-called 4/5* campsite with such prices they still need to do quite a lot to compete with others :)

Just a few kilometres outside the coastal town of Šibenik in Croatia lies Amadria Park Camping Šibenik, an attractive and spacious facility for families and beach holidaymakers right on the beach. The special highlight of the campsite, where dogs are also very welcome, is the beautifully designed ethno village of natural stone houses, where visitors are introduced to local specialities and given an insight into traditional ways of life.
The flat pitches for campers and caravans are located in the shade of olive trees and pines and are separated from each other by hedges. Almost 800 of these pitches are spread over an area of 12 hectares. In addition to the pitches, mobile homes can also be booked at Amadria Park Camping Šibenik. Equipped with a spacious living area, the mobile homes promise very relaxing days at the resort. For a small fee, the service also takes care of the unpleasant final cleaning. The varied wellness and leisure programme at Amadria Park Camping Šibenik, which is adjacent to a large hotel complex with a water park, is particularly appealing. A swimming pool with seawater, wave pool and numerous water slides provide pure bathing fun, while massages and spa treatments or the sauna ensure that relaxation is not neglected. The campsite itself also offers creative entertainment for children and colourful playgrounds where young guests can quickly make friends. Those who prefer to dig their feet into the warm sand on the Adriatic coast can reach a 400 metre long and up to 30 metre wide fine gravel beach, which also has a small sandy section, directly from the campsite. The sports programme at Amadria Park Camping Šibenik also leaves nothing to be desired: Those who don't like training alone can play tennis, mini golf or beach volleyball. Even beginners can explore the colourful underwater world on diving courses and guests can go on boat trips along the coast above the water surface. Those who like to cook the local specialities in their own caravan can stock up on all the necessary ingredients in the resort's supermarket.
The centre of the historic town extends around the sheltered harbour of Sibenik, which is easily accessible from the Beach Resort Solaris. In the western part of the municipality, visitors are greeted by a labyrinth of narrow streets and passageways leading to churches, monasteries and palaces. One of the most famous buildings in the city centre is the Cathedral of St. James, which took over 100 years to build. Šibenik's location on a narrow strait along the River Krka is also unique. If you take a boat out to sea from here, you will have a marvellous view of the surrounding islands, such as Zlarin, Obonjan or Žirje. Sibenik is also the gateway to the Krka National Park, the centrepiece of which are the seven paradisiacal waterfalls in the middle of dense deciduous forests.
