Surrounded by imposing mountains, Alpencamp Kärnten invites you to enjoy an exceptional nature holiday at any time of year. The dog-friendly resort, which is open almost all year round, is in an exceptionally beautiful location, allowing holidaymakers to enjoy the view of the Alpine panorama at all times. Guests can look forward to a wide range of spa facilities, including a sauna and steam bath on site. The facilities also include a bike hire service, a children's playground, a fitness room and many culinary offerings. In the summer months, there are regular horse rides through the region and in winter, the ski bus takes travellers quickly to the nearest lifts. Within walking distance of the tranquil market town of Kötschach-Mauthen, you can quickly reach an outdoor and indoor swimming pool.

The whole place is great! Partly beautifully shady! Shops easily reachable on foot! Hardly any children noise, more of a seniors' place! I'll definitely come back. The restaurant is not just! Vegan!!! Top roll service!

We had booked a quiet comfort spot, according to the friendly operator on site, a quiet place, but in the morning at 6 am the first trucks thundered by on the adjacent road!!! The showers were old and very, very cramped, no shelf, no hooks. On the positive side, it is very clean. We were near the restaurant, and in the evening it was very loud due to guests (comfort spot) 😠😡

The campsite gave us a very clean impression. Super friendly staff, a really nice boss, and a good atmosphere on the site. Super bread roll service, pleasant sanitary facilities, and a nice location in the beautiful Gailtal. Shops are within walking distance and the hiking trails right at the door. A nice, purely vegetarian restaurant is right next door.
