Peaceful, back to nature and very few people Pitch/rental accommodation: Very quiet, lovely views, welcoming ....a truly back to nature site...quite basic but had toilet and a nice hot shower, a really lovely place to chill out and some good bike riding too.

👍 We contacted the owner prior to arrival and were given the choice of two pitches which would be suitable (medium tent, no electric hook up, private, with view, shade, near to a sanitary block). There was ample space to park our large (7 seater) car, and the pitch was screened by trees and natural vegetation which provide shade, with a view across the landscape. Pitch/rental accommodation: The pitch was as described - in fact I felt I should check with the owner prior to putting up the tent as it was large enough for more tents and I thought perhaps it was intended for a group rather than a single tent! 👎 I have arthritis in my hands and found it very difficult to lock the toilet door in the nearest sanitary block (the lowest on the site, there are 3 at different levels) Pitch/rental accommodation: I found it difficult to see the numbers of the pitches from the car on arrival - I ...

Pros

From the campsite, we drove to the train station and visited Lyon a few times. We hiked in the Pilat nature park, cycled in the area, and along the Rhône to Vienne. And we thoroughly enjoyed doing nothing at the campsite. We could shop in the nearby village. Pitch/Rental accommodation: spacious and open place for the tent. Simple sanitation, but no problem as there are multiple buildings and a quiet occupancy.

Pros

The caravan was very spacious with a lot of private space surrounding it. We ended up at location 3, which was a bigger and newer caravan. It had everything: pots, pans, fridge, cutlery, and a small terrace. We received great tips from the owner about things to do in the area. There are a lot of beautiful hikes to do nearby. Standplaats/Huuraccommodatie: Caravan 3 (we were at another spot) made our stay chill - while still being in nature. Reading a book in front of the caravan, cooking, playing games inside. We had a great time!

Very nice owner and uncomplicated check-in. Beautiful view and great pitches. Pitch/Rental accommodation: The chickens that came to visit and the view.

Cleaning and maintenance Pitch/Accommodation: It was incredibly disappointing that no maintenance is carried out. This makes the campsite feel a bit shabby.

This is not a campsite. Unkempt area. One could also call it natural. No one at the site but money in the mailbox. Neither closed nor private. Never again. Not suitable for large motorhomes at all. We called in advance and asked, yes no problem we have everything you need.
