Beautiful, quiet, sunny and wind-sheltered camping spot. The washrooms are clean. The laundry room is also spacious with a stove, microwave, and clean laundry. The beach is great; the kids, ages 11, 7, and 5, were thrilled. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed, not even in the back area by the fence. So someone always has to stay back at the campsite, which is difficult with children. Otherwise, you can order rolls for breakfast in the morning. Volleyball, table tennis, swings - everything is possible. We arrived late due to traffic conditions. Nevertheless, we were warmly welcomed. We will come back.

Was disappointed... We spent many vacations there... had only booked for one night and had to pay for electricity and water even though we didn't want to as we are self-sufficient with the motorhome.... what was shocking was the emptiness of the place.... fortunately, the operators of the snack bar and shop are still the same nice people.

No direct beach access possible, only via the swimming facility!

Friendly staff, mostly long-term campers with many sheds and shacks. The beer garden is very poorly managed with high prices and no atmosphere. Sanitary facilities are clean and good. Showers must be paid for separately, which is fine for us. The beach facility closes at 8 PM, no sundowner by the lake possible. More than a shame!

Very good for taking a break. We, 2 people and 3 dogs, were received very kindly. The sanitary facilities are clean and quite new. The amenities have everything you need and a little more (the play areas for the kids are amazing). There is a dining area that invites you to sit comfortably and chat with other campers. The site is generally nice and quiet and directly (separated by a road) at Arendsee. In short, we felt very comfortable. We will definitely come back. And by the way, Arendsee and its surroundings are of course beautiful.

Super beautiful nature camping site at Arendsee

July 2023

On our way to the south, we first visited the site in Arendsee (please note, there are 2 C-sites, we were at the site Harper Weg 1, not Elsebusch, which is apparently private). Already at check-in we were mega enthusiastic. Christian, the employee at the reception, was very obliging, explained everything important in detail and could even offer us one of the coveted "Seeblick" pitches. The tips for activities in the region, such as a bike tour around Arendsee, a ride with the Queen, visiting the nearby monastery, visiting the beach bath, etc. prompted us to turn 1 night into 3. By the way: entrance to the beach opposite is included in the overnight costs, unfortunately dogs are not allowed there, but the nice employee gave us a tip on where we could go with the dog into the water. Also great; the "KONSUM" on the site, with morning breakfast service and afternoon coffee and cake. All in all great, as well as the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities without defects. We promised: We will come back!

Situated in the middle of the forest on the lakeshore, the Arendsee campsite offers a natural and active beach holiday for the whole family.

Campsite right by the Arendsee lido

Nestled in a dense birch and pine forest, the Arendsee campsite is a paradise for nature lovers. One of the highlights of the holiday complex is its location right next to the local lido. The little ones can look forward to various water play areas with shallow paddling pools, fun splash figures and inflatable platforms in the lake. The 72 metre-long giant slide also ensures exuberant fun for children. Nudists can sunbathe without leaving any marks on a separate section of beach. The campsite itself is also extremely family-friendly. It has a large children's playground and recreation rooms with games and TV areas.

Well-equipped Arendsee campsite

The spacious pitches at the Arendsee campsite are mainly shaded by tall trees. Camping holidaymakers will find modern facilities for a comfortable stay on the spacious site. The sanitary facilities offer hot water as well as child-friendly and barrier-free cabins. During the day, guests can spend their time playing lively games such as billiards, table tennis and beach volleyball. At night, the wooded holiday village impresses with its peaceful atmosphere. There are also many activities on offer around the Arendsee campsite. The idyllic paths surrounding the sparkling waters are ideal for cycling tours, walks and horseback rides.
