Available accommodations (Ängby Camping)
...
Ängby Camping is located on the western edge of Stockholm in the Stockholm-Bromma district. The proximity to the city centre, just 10 km away, makes the site a practical starting point for a trip to the Swedish capital. In addition to its proximity to the city centre, Ängby Camping also boasts a charming location right on the banks of Lake Mälaren. There is direct access to the lake with bathing facilities and sunbathing lawn as well as a neighbouring Ängby outdoor pool. Dense stands of trees parcel out the site and offer plenty of privacy. Opposite the campsite is the island of Lövon with the royal castle of Drottningholm.
Thanks to the nearby metro station, it serves as a convenient starting point for exploring Stockholm.

Very nice staff, good location with subway connection but extremely poor, dirty, and outdated sanitation facilities. An outrage and therefore the price is completely exaggerated.

Looked for an overnight stay in Stockholm and would have preferred to be somewhere on the main street rather than there. Not a nice place, not even for passing through, especially not with children. Many unkempt permanent camper trailers. We then preferred to leave again and therefore cannot provide any information about the cleanliness of the washrooms.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are old and worn out and not even cleaned by 8:00 in the morning. We are staying for two nights and I have to shower at least once......

Staff friendly. Location very good for sightseeing in Stockholm. Everything else is forgettable. Dilapidated, dirty, and outdated sanitation facilities. Two stars!! That’s "three" too many.

Worst campsite of our trip to Sweden! The gentleman at the reception was - despite low occupancy - visibly overwhelmed. The cabins (also for rent) are inhabited by numerous workers on assignment. They have taken over the campsite and occupy every corner. The sanitary facilities are both old and dilapidated, as well as completely filthy. In the men's shower, there is a slight smell of urine, and everywhere it smells unpleasantly of cigarette smoke. The location right on the main road is uncomfortable even on weekends, and we left the site just 2 hours after arrival. Unfortunately, we received hardly any money back (one of four paid nights). The site is also significantly overpriced, and using the showers is additionally chargeable. How does this site get into the ADAC Camping Guide??? We then ended up at the Bredång campsite, which is highly recommended!

City close and directly located by the water. Good access to the SLT train and simple and clean sanitary facilities. Sauna available for rent and shopping options available until 10 PM. No separate toilets.

The reception and advice at the campsite were very friendly and pleasant. The pitch was not nice at all, as it was very small, gravelly/earthy (with few patches of grass) and there were old mattresses and construction waste lying around. The campsite seemed to be heavily booked, as one caravan stood next to another with not much space in between. The sanitary facilities were dirty, cramped, and run down. There was no soap. Showers cost extra. There was only a storage option in the area before the showers. One of the shower machines did not work, but the money was refunded without any issues. We left after one night, although two nights were planned.
