ZIMDARS CampingResort

We stayed here for three nights and were welcomed very warmly. The site is clean, as are the sanitary facilities. Dogs are also welcome. The food was very tasty but also a bit more expensive, but it was fine.

A wonderful good day. We, that is to say, my wife, I and shepherd dog Arco have booked a pitch from May 11 to May 18, 25. We were received very kindly. We had booked a spot at the edge of the forest. It is a very nice spot. The sanitary building was clean at all times. Since we did not have bicycles for personal reasons, we had to use the bus to Cuxhaven. The bus stop is almost at the front door. I have rarely seen such a beautiful spot.

Reception, parking space

The place accommodated us on short notice without a long booking. The sanitary facilities are very clean; the cleaning lady is very friendly. The pitches are very spacious, separated by bushes accordingly. The campsite is very quiet, more recommended for travelers without children. Edeka and a great baker are in close proximity. By bicycle, Cuxhaven (in one direction) and the beach in the other direction are easily accessible.

We have been happy guests at this campground for years. It is straightforward and well-located. The operators are nice and accommodating. You feel very comfortable here.

Uncomplicated and friendly booking over the phone. Also a friendly welcome and personal allocation of the pitch (with electricity connection). Large pitches separated by high, dense hedges on grass. Sanitary facilities and showers always clean and very modern. Edeka and bakery about 200 m away. The beach in Duhnen is about a 10-minute bike ride away. Tall, old trees that provide shade during the summer temperatures. The only thing missing is a water connection at the pitch, but there are watering cans available. A paradise for dogs, who are very welcome; within 5 minutes you're on the grounds and can walk for miles. For children, there is a large play barn with go-karts and similar attractions, as well as a sand children's playground with equipment. There is also a really great restaurant on the premises, Zimdars Scheune, with fine cuisine. For us, it's always a reason to travel to Cuxhaven, one of the most beautiful campsites we know.

Great campsite with large spaces for motorhomes. Large, clean sanitary building. The extremely friendly staff is also worth mentioning. We would love to come back.

Very clean and like-new sanitary facilities. Nicely designed. The pitch for our caravan was large and bordered by a hedge. The owner is accommodating. Good number of permanent campers to tourist campers.
