A wonderful good day. We, that is to say, my wife, I and shepherd dog Arco have booked a pitch from May 11 to May 18, 25. We were received very kindly. We had booked a spot at the edge of the forest. Uncomplicated and friendly booking over the phone. Also a friendly welcome and personal allocation of the pitch (with electricity connection). Large pitches separated by high, dense hedges on grass. Sanitary facilities and showers always clean and very modern. Edeka and bakery about 200 m away. The beach in Duhnen is about a 10-minute bike ride away. Tall, old trees that provide shade during the summer temperatures. The only thing missing is a water connection at the pitch, but there are watering cans available. A paradise for dogs, who are very welcome; within 5 minutes you're on the grounds and can walk for miles. For children, there is a large play barn with go-karts and similar attractions, as well as a sand children's playground with equipment. There is also a really great restaurant on the premises, Zimdars Scheune, with fine cuisine. For us, it's always a reason to travel to Cuxhaven, one of the most beautiful campsites we know.
