You can expect a flat grassy area surrounded by tall, shade-providing deciduous trees. The pitches offer plenty of space, ranging from 100 to 140 m², are partitioned, and partly gravelled. This ensures you have a firm ground for your vehicle, even in typical English weather.

We do not offer a private, own bathroom directly at the pitch here, but the sanitary facilities are very well-maintained. For campers with reduced mobility, there is a fully equipped wheelchair-accessible sanitary cabin. In total, 7 showers and 9 toilets are available on the campsite.

The campsite is a wonderfully quiet retreat in the countryside. With only 33 pitches for holidaymakers, it has a lovely family feel. Children can let off steam on the playground, while active holidaymakers appreciate the direct access to the hiking and cycling network for excursions into nature.

Since the campsite is currently not directly bookable online via PiNCAMP, we do not have daily updated prices. You should consider the following cost factors when planning your holiday:

• Electricity connection (16-amp sockets available)
• Dog fee (your four-legged friends are very welcome here)

Arriving with a car with caravan or motorhome is straightforward thanks to the flat terrain. Since some pitches are on grass, you should pack sturdy pegs. If you want to leave your vehicle behind for a day: a public transport stop is just 50 metres from the campsite.

The cosy bread roll service directly at the campsite ensures a perfect start to your day. If you don't feel like cooking, you will find a pub or restaurant just 50 metres away. Larger shopping trips can be done at the supermarket in York, 18 kilometres away.

Yes, dogs are very welcome! The rural surroundings around Sheriff Hutton are perfect for long walks with your four-legged friend. Since the campsite is directly connected to a beautiful hiking and cycling network, you can start great tours into nature right from your pitch.
