Wine Camp Hažić

A brand new, very well-maintained and comfortable, yet comparatively small site with modern and impeccably clean, stylishly designed sanitary facilities. The sanitary building, divided into several units, is easily accessible from all pitches. The pitches, covered with large white pebbles and part-wise quite generously sized, terraced spots (all driveways are paved) have power (CEE) and water connections and offer a magnificent view of meadows, wooded hills, and vineyards. Despite the road passing by the site (which is hardly used), it is very quiet; one is only awakened by the chirping of birds and the cuckoo (at least that was the case at the end of April). For couples or families who can do without annoying entertainment, forced amusement, and the usual hustle and bustle of many campsites, it is an ideal place for relaxation. Unfortunately, we were just passing through on our way to Hungary and could only stay for one night. The charming owner speaks very good German and is extremely friendly and helpful. The family also runs a winery, and the wine we tasted (Sauvignon) was so delicious that we immediately bought a stock for home. The journey from the direction of Zagreb ultimately leads through narrow but well-drivable roads through partly very beautiful landscapes.
