Way too few showers and toilets for about 65 pitches and nearly 100 permanent campers... Fortunately, there were shower tokens, so the shower was only occupied for a maximum of 5 minutes... They might have considered limiting the time in the restroom as well. However, the best part came at the end... Since our tow vehicle was a VW bus (So SUV size), we had to pay not only for the space for a caravan including the car (Let's remember... The VW bus was the towing vehicle), but also an additional fee for a motorhome. So we paid 9 € per night for a caravan including the car and an extra 9 € per night for a motorhome. However, the weather was great!!!

We were at this site for the state garden show. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is a refrigerator for use in the snack bar. The sites are large and well-maintained. We had a site right by the Weser. Some sites are gravelled, so you don't stand in mud even in bad weather. There you have a wonderful view. The washroom is clean. Showering is included. Contrary to the information in the site description, you have to pay €2.50 per person for entry to the swimming pool. The next time we visit this campsite, we will definitely bring our kayaks. The campsite is highly recommended!
