I can only agree with my predecessors. Super quiet campsite, right on the Weser. It feels like everyone goes to bed at 9:00 PM. Very uncomplicated site allocation, warm reception, great service, sanitation facilities are top-notch. A nice starting point for motorcycle tours. We will gladly come back.

We were pleasantly surprised, new operators were extremely friendly and helpful. The site is very well-kept with a small swimming pool. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi was not available at our pitch. The bread roll service was good and tasty, you could also enjoy drinks on the terrace; a few small dishes would have been nice, but unfortunately there weren't any, the drink menu was adequate and okay. All in all, a nice, well-kept site that I would recommend. For self-caterers, there are no shopping or dining options in the village. In the village, there is a camping supply store with a sufficient selection.

We were on the site for 2 nights in early July. We had registered by phone a few days earlier (stopover on return trip from Denmark). Very friendly operators. Buns from the baker could be ordered the day before (very good buns!). Campsites always in short grass, large, partly paved with concrete slabs (terrace in front of the caravan). Electricity connection and tap nearby. Very clean, modern sanitary facilities. Sites available both under deciduous trees and in full sun (Weser bank), which could be chosen based on availability. We were in the second row, slightly elevated and partly shaded at the Weser bank. Very quiet surroundings at night, the site became lively only around 8:00 AM in the morning. Definitely visit the factory outlet of Weserbergland spirits in town (within walking distance) (brochure at reception)! They have a fantastic selection. Not cheap, but good quality comes with a price. The small hut economy at the passenger ferry terminal (and bicycles) is also worth a trip. However, both are not always open. Weser cycle path on the opposite riverbank. Small enclosed swimming pool at the campsite. Other excursion opportunities can only be reached by car. In the village itself, there is very little besides a large caravan motorhome dealer. No restaurant (the one displayed on Google is no longer in existence).

The place is one of the cleanest I know. I still maintain my rating from four years ago, including the logo for the nice operators.
