Received very kindly at the campsite, even though in October many things are already closed at Balaton (including wellness offerings on the site) it's worth a trip. The campsite is well connected to the bike path around Balaton, so you can also explore the area nicely by bike. The site and the facilities made a very tidy impression. As it is very quiet in autumn, we were able to find a nice sunny spot, and there is certainly shade in summer provided by trees.

The campsite is very easily accessible from the main road. The staff is friendly and helpful. The site is a gently sloping meadow area with individual trees between the parcels. However, most sites are flat. The site has a lovely pool, hot tub, and sauna. The sanitary facilities may not be the newest, but they are regularly cleaned and are kept clean. Unfortunately, there is no supply and disposal station for motorhomes. The nearest beach is about 1 km from the site and can be easily reached by bike or on foot. The beach in Gyenesdiás is one of the most beautiful at Lake Balaton. There is also a very nice farmers' market at the beach with several food stands. Good restaurants can be easily reached on foot from the site.

The campsite is not directly by the lake - that’s why the mosquitoes probably only come in the evening. The access road is a bit narrow, but it's manageable with a caravan. Even grassy terrain with trees that provide valuable shade. Clean, regionally typical sanitary facilities that are regularly cleaned. The pool, hot tub, and sauna on this site are nice.
