The pitches offer plenty of nature and a relaxed atmosphere right by the forest. Since the site is located in the idyllic Ore Mountains, you have the ideal starting point for hikes. It is best to bring suitable pegs for forest soil to secure your tent or awning.

The terrain stands out due to its natural location on Berghausweg. Since the campsite is located in a low mountain range, you should expect slightly hilly surroundings. It is the perfect place for anyone who wants to avoid the crowds and enjoy the idyllic peace of the forest instead.

The journey to Berghausweg in Thalheim takes you through the picturesque but hilly landscape of the Ore Mountains. The roads are easily passable, but you should drive foresightedly with a car and caravan. For winter campers, winter tyres and snow chains are highly recommended in this region.

We do not have a large restaurant directly on the campsite, but the town centre of Thalheim is very close by. There you will find various shopping facilities, bakeries, and cosy restaurants offering regional Saxon cuisine to keep you well supplied.
