Lots of nature and a lake with wonderful water. Since there is only a small kiosk and a snack bar on-site, but no restaurant, you are reliant on your car for shopping as it is a long trek to the nearest supermarket. The sanitary facilities are very outdated and only cleaned once a day. The waste disposal area has no visual protection and is an eyesore. But above all, the constant smell of feces in the northeastern restroom is unbearable.

Campground located in a very beautiful geographical area. With its own dock, it is well suited for those who bring their boat. However, the sanitary facilities are borderline. The water does not drain when showering, so you are „hopefully“ standing only in your soup. In the afternoon, the washhouse is closed for an hour and is „roughly“ cleaned by a non-German speaking cleaning team. Unfortunately, everything but thoroughly. There is only a small snack bar on site. No other shopping options are available. We had reserved 7 days. However, due to bad weather, we departed a day earlier. We checked out properly at the reception, paid the bill given to us there, and headed home. 5 weeks later, we then received an email payment request for the last day, without any prior notice or explanation. I wasn’t even aware that we hadn’t paid for it. The campground has potential. However, the operator seems to only focus on collecting fees. This year was definitely my worst camping experience.

Beautiful and well-maintained place, the sanitary facilities are also clean, but a bit worn out. Nice large playground for the children and a fenced dog beach. The view of the lake is possible from almost all pitches. All in all a great campsite.

Very beautiful campsite, very nice location by the lake. Sanitary facilities are not up to date. Kiosk closes at 6:00 PM.

The place is close to nature and the spots are spaced out loosely without plots, making it less crowded. Thus, contact with always new neighbors is possible. The location by the lake is simply incredibly great. Swimming at any time and almost all spots provide a fantastic view of the lake. The most beautiful sunsets are free every evening. The dining options and sanitary facilities were very rustic. However, those who seek nature and peace will find exactly what they are looking for here. The surroundings are very diverse and partly very original and exciting. There is much to discover and experience.

Beautifully located campsite at Lake Plauer. Most pitches for short-term visitors are located directly by the water, allowing direct access from the plot to the lake. Nicely designed and fenced dog bathing beach with a cleaning station for waste disposal. Sanitary facilities are a bit older but spotlessly clean. There is a snack bar with smaller dishes and seating options, as well as a small kiosk with fresh rolls and a minimal selection of groceries. For those looking for water sports, this is the perfect spot.

Gastronomic offers
On the eastern shore of the picturesque Lake Plau and surrounded by lush forests, the Wald- und Seeblick Camp awaits its guests all year round. The access to many hiking trails, the well-kept facilities and the peaceful atmosphere make the campsite an ideal place for nature lovers.
The 11-hectare campsite offers 230 pitches, some of which are located on the lake. With pitches ranging in size from 80 to 100 square metres, there is plenty of space and privacy. In addition to an electricity connection, the comfort pitches also have water and waste water connections. WLAN is also available. The direct access to Lake Plau is particularly popular with young and old alike and is ideal for swimming. Surfing and fishing are also possible in certain areas of the lake. Boats can be hired on site. The surrounding forests also have their own charm. A walk through the nature reserve around the campsite gives not only children an insight into the regional flora and fauna. For longer nature excursions, guests can hire bikes directly from the campsite. After a day in the great outdoors, a small supermarket and a snack and ice cream stand offer the necessary refreshments. A trip to the MüritzTherme in Röbel, just 27 kilometres away, is worthwhile and fun for the whole family. Visitors are pampered here with bathing areas at different temperatures and a large wellness area. Just as exciting is a trip to the GDR Museum of Everyday Life in Malchow, around 12 kilometres away.
