Pros

A lovely spot. From the D1 campsite, there is a fantastic view directly of the North Sea. Very quiet. The sanitary facilities are top quality. It can be a bit complicated negotiating access for your car to set up or take down your tent. But other than that, all the staff are super friendly and helpful. Cons

It takes some getting used to that the reception is located in a supermarket quite far away and not on the site. That's why I only give the reception 9 stars. For telephone inquiries after 6 PM, you are forwarded to staff in Hamburg, but no one answers the phone there. Therefore, it is important to arrive before 6 PM as the license plate recognition at the gate apparently does not always function properly and often requires manual assistance. However, compared to everything else, these are minor issues.

Very good and spacious sanitary facilities (great family bathroom). Note: bookings are always made WITHOUT electricity and WITHOUT showers. Both must be purchased on-site via a card and will be charged based on consumption.

Pitch/rental accommodation: Paid for seaview. When coming, took the last available. But I had to move after one hour of settling down. When complaining next day, manager argued that you could see the sea over the cars in front. And he added that they are not responsible for Dcu agent booking. Then he went away.

Pros

We left immediately. The supposed spot (8x4m) 68 was on a rise (thin) and not feasible with a 7.45m camper. Two campers were already there, so that was the end of it for us. We would have had to park right on the slope, and the access would have been difficult. A personal contact on site could have possibly helped. The spot was not possible for us and our money was wasted. We had to go to another provider. Site/Rental: Nothing, we had to leave again.

Cons

No personal contact person on site. The service in the shop has not existed for a long time, but it would be important to mention this in the welcome email; it is unacceptable. We feel scammed! After 4 weeks of traveling, this has not happened to us anywhere else! Site/Rental: The spots need to be properly marked.

Pros

The digital check-in worked super quickly. Cleanliness was top-notch, and the facility itself is very modern and clean. Site/Rental accommodation: The contactless, super easy check-in process.

Make the plot number more recognizable in the confirmation email. Site/Rental accommodation: nothing.

We found the location of the campsite to be very pleasant. Everything was clean and in top condition. Pitch / rental accommodation: The elevated position and thus the view make this pitch a special experience.
