Campsite Intro

In Ålesund, one of Norway's most beautiful towns, Volsdalen Camping promises a wonderful holiday. The campsite is located on the west coast above a recreational area with swimming areas, a diving platform and a beach volleyball court. The picturesque marina is right next door. Just a few minutes' walk from the campsite is the centre of Ålesund with its architectural features. Here, visitors can immerse themselves in the cultural history of the town, from Art Nouveau to the town fire and reconstruction. A visit to the Ålesund Aquarium is well worthwhile with children. A hike up Aksla, Ålesund's local mountain, is also great. The panoramic view over the town, the mountains, the offshore islands and the surrounding fjords is magnificent.
