The location of the campsite is truly a dream: the lake sparkles in front, nature blossoms in spring, and behind it lies the mighty mountain panorama, adorned with white peaks at the time of our stay! What more could you want?

Clean campsite with everything you need. Very well-maintained and clean sanitary facilities. Friendly staff, and it’s always nice to be there. We also think the attached motorhome parking area is very good. Unfortunately, there is currently a construction site (March 26). The restroom is being enlarged. You can use the sanitary facilities of the campsite and all other amenities. This is our sixth year, visiting several times per season. So far, we have never had any complaints.

It was super nice, as always. Unfortunately, the washroom was not cleaned during the usual rotation as we were used to. The result was, among other things, dusty surfaces in the toilets with a very dirty floor. It's complaining at a high level (which has also been achieved at a very busy site so far)

We had a fantastic spot. Very nice and clean sanitation facilities. Friendly reception. WiFi also worked well. Great that shooting was not allowed on the campsite during New Year's Eve - and that everyone adhered to it. The only points that can be criticized: -The gastronomy was closed during New Year's Eve (but I knew that in advance). -The path to the parking lot, access to the campsite is not lit at night. You walk in the dark towards Lechbruck. (Outside the campsite). -The showers turn off very quickly sometimes.

In a picturesque location on the banks of the emerald-green Lechsee lake, the Via Claudi campsite is a real holiday paradise in sunny southern Bavaria. The idyllically situated campsite in the picturesque Alpine foothills of the Allgäu is a real gem for families, nature lovers and active holidaymakers. It is not for nothing that Via Claudia Camping has repeatedly been voted one of the 100 best campsites in Europe.
Nestled in the picturesque Alpine foothills of the Allgäu and located directly on the shores of Lake Lech, Via Claudia Camping offers the ideal conditions for a feel-good holiday by the lake. The approximately 800 pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents offer spacious plots with plenty of open space and a fantastic view of the lake. In addition to the pitches, cosy rental accommodation, wooden huts and tipis are also available. The rustic wooden sleeping barrels promise a special experience. Separate motorhome pitches with their own WC are available in front of the barrier. Dog owners are very welcome on the site. The pitches are equipped with electricity, while the comfort pitches also offer water and waste water connections. The three modern sanitary buildings include sculleries and hire bathrooms with washbasins, showers and toilets. Daily personal hygiene is a pleasure in the children's washroom with baby changing room. The cosy restaurant with its inviting beer garden offers fine regional dishes such as Allgäu cheese spaetzle, a hearty snack and various children's dishes. Self-catering guests can buy fresh food in the Via Claudia Camping self-service shop or use the on-site cooking facilities. WLAN is available throughout the site for an additional charge.
Boredom is a thing of the past at Via Claudia Camping. It's only a few minutes from the pitch to the sunbathing lawn on Lake Lechsee. Here you can enjoy a wonderful swim and relax. Alternatively, the unspoilt Baderwäldlesee lake is around 10 minutes' walk away. In the summer months, the campsite also offers a variety of children's activities. While the youngsters do handicrafts with natural materials, take part in the children's Olympics or the table tennis tournament, parents can relax with yoga or test their marksmanship at archery or on the mini golf course. Active holidaymakers can meet up for a leisurely morning jog during the high season. There is also a football pitch, beach volleyball court on the lakeshore, table tennis tables, a boccia and curling rink and a chess field. Children can look forward to several playgrounds. Dog owners can let their four-legged companions run free on their own dog play area. For campers with their own boat, boat moorings with a slipway are available at Lechsee. A youth centre and children's playroom round off the family-friendly facilities.
Hiking, cycling, climbing or sightseeing: there is plenty to experience around the Via Claudia campsite. Many excursions start right at the campsite, such as the family-friendly cycle tours through the blooming meadow landscapes of the Hirschau or along the Auerberg. Hikers also get their money's worth in the beautiful Alpine foothills of the Allgäu and stroll through lush meadows where horses and cows graze. Mountain sports enthusiasts can head up high: a great tour is the 14-kilometre stage to the 2,047-metre-high Säuling, starting in Hohenschwangau. Culture fans can visit the numerous fairytale castles, including the magnificent Neuschwanstein Castle. The nearby Prem pony farm is a great destination for families.
