Velfjord Camping & Hytter

The campsite is located directly on an idyllic lake and is a real paradise for anglers and water sports enthusiasts. You can enjoy excellent fishing, kayaking or rowing here while soaking up the peace of Norwegian nature. With only 25 pitches for holidaymakers, the atmosphere is wonderfully friendly and relaxed.

Yes, Velfjord Camping & Hytter has its own naturist area. If you like to relax clothes-free, you've come to the right place. This campsite in the countryside offers you the opportunity to spend your holiday in a tolerant and natural environment in a completely informal way.

On the cosy, 1-hectare site, you will find a total of 25 pitches for holidaymakers, 10 of which are parcelled. The pitch size is a comfortable 80 to 100 m². There are also car-free pitches, which ensures extra peace and quiet. All pitches have electricity connections with 16 amps.

Prices are stable in both high and low seasons. For 2026/2027, the following guide prices apply per night:

• Couples: approx. 25.86 EUR (2026) to 26.78 EUR (2027)
• Families: approx. 28.16 EUR (2026) to 29.09 EUR (2027)
• Wi-Fi & waste fee: Completely included
• Dogs: Very affordable at just 0.93 EUR per night
• Electricity & showers: Charged extra (not included)

If you are arriving without your own tent or motorhome, you can book one of the 4 cosy rental cabins. The great thing is that all of these rental accommodations have their own bathroom integrated directly into the cabin. This means you can enjoy full comfort in the middle of the Norwegian wilderness.

Directly on the campsite, there is a practical covered cooking facility that you can use. For larger shopping trips, restaurants, a snack bar or a supermarket, you can drive to the town centre of Velfjord, which is about 8 km away. There you will find everything you need for your daily camping life.

You will receive a very warm welcome at reception, and the team speaks German, English and Dutch. Getting here is straightforward as the campsite is located very close to the highway. Despite the good transport links, the site itself is wonderfully quiet.
