Large square with a confusing path system and very improvable signage. Many places with lots of shade and hardly any opportunities to catch the ASTRA. From the waterline, it's over 1,000 m from the pitches across the approximately 300 m wide beach. We give the restaurant a solid 5 stars. We would have liked to stay a little longer, but the site was fully booked. We paid what we found to be expensive, 47 EUR/N including booking fee (2 people, trailer, electricity - 3 overnight stays).

Pitch: 3/5 stars, sanitary facilities: -10/5 stars. They were just disgusting and partially unusable. Also, it was insanely loud on site until 1 am. Luckily, we were only there for 2 nights...

Certainly nice in good weather, but useless in bad weather, especially with a child. The swimming pool is absolutely spectacularly cold and old. Opening hours are from 10 AM to 5 PM. Moreover, it is far too small for the size of the area. The sanitary facilities are truly the peak for a place in this price segment, 80's style, and showers only work at one temperature; it's also very chilly in the washrooms. The doors are constantly left open, and the cleaning was also inadequate. For €20 a day, one can tolerate that, but not the lack of hygiene, and for €40-50 a day, I expect decent washrooms!

The sanitary facilities at the campsite are a disaster. Old, dirty, mold on the walls. Despite notices, they are not or hardly cleaned. When you read the many negative Google reviews on the topic of cleanliness, it seems that Roompot is not interested. Despite assurances of how important cleanliness is to them. It's a shame, despite the good location we will not return if things do not change significantly!!!!

I have been camping for 30 years, but I have never seen such poor and dirty sanitary facilities. Maybe the ADAC should take a look for themselves before recommending such a place. Never again.

A campsite that offers everything needed for a few days of camping vacation. Great location and a very wide sandy beach virtually right outside the door. Sanitary facilities have aged and could certainly use some renovation. They are cleaned daily, but always exactly during peak times around 9 - 10 am. The ground mainly consists of sand. On dry days, this may not be a problem. On rainy days, however, you carry it everywhere with you. Dogs are welcome throughout the entire area and can go almost anywhere. However, the designated dog area is not worth mentioning.

We were here for two weeks in a tent with two kids aged 3 and 5, as well as a medium-sized dog. Playgrounds, supermarket, animation, offerings - everything was great. The dog is not only tolerated by the other campers, but the majority even bring their own dogs, which can lead to barking in some corners... We loved the numerous trees... What we found unpleasant was all the leaves and the rather dark sandy ground in the sites... Especially with kids, this can be very annoying because they immediately get black feet and hands again right after showering... Endless beach and the dog can run free... Great bike paths here in the Netherlands... BUT: You have to camp near the right sanitary facilities or walk to another facility so that it doesn't get gross... The first sanitary facility we randomly visited was dirty, shabby, old, and certainly not hygienic... BUT No. 2 The other sanitary facilities are better, although they could still be cleaned once more a day (currently here 3 times a day, with one cleaning very early in the morning and another very late in the evening). We would come back! However, with a caravan ;-)
