The National Park Centre also provides information about the best tours through this natural paradise. Hoogeveen, around 15 kilometres from the campsite, offers shopping opportunities. Culture vultures head to Meppel, which lies on the border with the province of Overijssel. It enchants visitors with its historic warehouse buildings, old churches and canals. Numerous cafés invite you to stop for a bite to eat.
