Elongated grassy area directly on the Ijssel River with two adjacent marinas. Mostly flat terrain in front of the dyke for tourists. Characterized by permanent campers and rental properties.

Beautiful camping but very full
The campsite is actually very nice, I stayed at my daughter's camper, so I can only comment on the restroom at the restaurant, which unfortunately has aged but is supposed to be renovated.

Blinded by the Internet.
We spent three weeks vacation there with our three children. Unfortunately, there is no pitch with direct water or sewage supply, and the power connection is mediocre; with a poor campsite, at least a 50m cable is needed, devices over 2KW cannot be used. Never again
For over 51€, you stay for one night on a meadow outside the main area. The associated sanitary building is a plastic construction with corresponding cleanliness. Parking spaces are allocated that are already occupied. Not recommended for the money, I felt ripped off.

Blinded by the online presence. Okay for a weekend. Much room for improvement. Sanitary facilities in the low season are unhygienic to disgusting. Too long paths with small children. Wi-Fi €10 extra.
Huge area consisting of two consecutive mobile home camping sites. The rear site appears outdated and somewhat neglected. Great place for October
We were here at the beginning of October and were completely alone right by the water. Great view, lots of activities for kids. The sanitary facilities are basic but sufficient and clean.

Located in the heart of the Netherlands in a water-rich region, Vakantiepark Capfun Ijsselstrand boasts a large indoor pool and an indoor play paradise for the youngest. Vakantiepark Capfun Ijsselstrand is situated on a tree-covered meadow. The 50-hectare site offers 210 pitches ranging in size from 90 to 135 square metres, some of which are located directly on the IJssel. Some of them offer the luxury of a private bath. WLAN is available for an extra charge. Self-catering guests are welcome to do their shopping in the campsite's well-stocked supermarket That's Fresh, which sells camping accessories, toys and barbecue equipment as well as food. If you want to dine in a special ambience, visit the restaurant "De IJsselwaard", which is located on a houseboat right by the marina. There is also a cosy pizzeria. For water lovers, the large indoor pool with a retractable roof is one of the main attractions at Vakantiepark Capfun Ijsselstrand. In addition to a long slide, there is also a paddling pool for the little ones. Fun is also guaranteed in the Binkie play paradise. On an area of 1,000 square metres, slides, giant building blocks, a climbing wall and a ghost house invite you to linger. Children can also experience adventure with the "De Eendenclub" leisure team during the holiday season. Young guests will also enjoy pony rides. A fishing pond, the sauna and the tennis court will delight active holidaymakers and those seeking peace and quiet. The bowling alley at Vakantiepark Capfun Ijsselstrand is unusual and attracts attention thanks to its blacklight LED lighting.
Active around Doesburg
Like many regions in the Netherlands, the River IJssel is an Eldorado for cyclists. Active travellers can hire a bike directly from the campsite and cycle to Doesburg, known as the mustard city. You can find out why the town bears this name in the mustard museum and on a tour of the mustard factory. Cyclists can go on an extended tour on the 18 km long Graafschapspad Traject 1.
