Vakantiepark Capfun Het Winkel

In summer it's a great place for families with children. Dogs are welcome, but they cost €6/day. We were there in March, not all sanitary buildings were open and the supermarket on site was also closed. The entire campsite is very nice, and the sanitary facilities were very clean. The price was actually reasonable, but we had to pay an extra €30 for "preference fees" because we requested 2 adjacent pitches when booking. This is frustrating and hard to understand.

We wanted to spend our first holiday with our new caravan here and booked three pitches (large enough for 10 people, we were three each). Called again to confirm we wanted to be side by side.. two of the pitches worked, the third was far away. The pitches were so large that the third could easily have fit.. so we would have paid for three pitches but only used two.. ‘No, that is not appreciated here.’ The restaurant is super slow, the very young staff not particularly friendly. In the swimming area, I did not see any lifeguard.. On the other hand, the cleaning staff and the general cleanliness of the toilets and showers are top-notch!! Perhaps a small suggestion for improvement: at the emptying station for the caravan toilets, I missed a hand washing sink..

Only partially suitable for the cold season Pitch/rental accommodation: In damp weather, provide guests with other spots that are not in the shade for almost the entire day, and the area is swampy and churned up because vehicles can get stuck in the deep soil. Toilet and washroom cleaning should be carried out at least daily and toilet paper needs to be replenished.

We stayed at the campsite for about a week and were approximately 20 meters from the shower house. The campsite was pleasantly large, but unfortunately, we were under a hazelnut tree, which made the nights quite short at times. Additionally, we were at the second site near the entrance, which personally bothered us a bit. The children had plenty of opportunities to stay entertained. Site/Rental Accommodation: The children could move around freely despite the access road.

Cons

The Chill Zone for teenagers urgently needs renovation. The shower house could also use a bit of refreshing. Site/Rental Accommodation: Some activities for children should also be offered during the autumn holidays.

Nice surroundings Pitch/Rental accommodation: The comfort plus pitches are generally good, but the width of the pitch is not always very spacious (the depth is fine, but that isn’t very useful)

The campsite is beautifully made, especially a paradise for children to play, there are opportunities everywhere to keep them entertained. The sanitary facilities are also well-maintained and not run down. The pitches were also large enough and there was something for everyone. The staff was super friendly. We will definitely come back.

Once again, a wonderful weekend spent at Het Winkel - swimming pool, dining, staff .. very good ! Pitch/Rental accommodation: Large pitch located right by the sanitary facilities - cannot complain
